They murdered GoF because they didn't put anything in. They left out so much, and to my brother, mother, and dad, who haven't read the books, they didn't understand it, instead, my dad and bro felt the need to make fun of GoF every time the goblet was shone. What all did you notice was wrong with GoF? Mine:
Dobby and Winky
Tongue Taffy
Hermione's beaver teeth
S.P.E.W.
And I could go on, but i won't, and that's just the things they left out, things they did wrong:
Neville wasn't supposed to give Harry the gillyweed, Dobby was.
Mr. Crouch Sr. was supposed to get turned into a bone.
The chest Moody(real) was locked in, was supposed to be different.
Dumbledore was supposed to come down and take Harry up out of the Pensieve.
Hermione's hair at the ball was supposed to be straight.... etc.... etc...

Now, what did YOU all think they did wrong and/or left out of GoF? They should include more stuff than that, i'd still watch it if it was 3 hours long or more, i don't care how long it is, it should just make a good movie.

well I agree....... no dobby & no winky, no S.P.E.W..... wish they had shown atleast a minute of these character roles........

I almost hated the movie the first time around..but its not too bad- considering it takes maybe 5 hrs to read the book...to include everything would have made the movie long and boring...I thought the movie was action packed and was over too quick (when I saw it in the cinema).

I did regret the lack of champions of the movie-- individual scenes showing the Beauxbatons school, Krum's team mates etc.. but the movie is called Harry Potter and the.... not just the Champions of the Goblet of Fire...

Don't overanalyse the movie and enjoy it for what it is-- entertainment!!! The DVD extras makes up for it anyway!!

I bet that the OOtP will be awesome and also a change of director keeps everything fresh-- plz bring back Cuaron from PoA!!! I wish..

they left out too many things... I think they should only put scenes in that are in the book.... then we would have more scenes from the book. And the ball was too long, I think. The actual stry is more important. the Yule ball was just a small part.

They also kept skipping around.... it was really annoying.

And they put really important parts inthe movie but give no explanation. And they're really important things! Like Neville and his parents....

And that's only part of it.

I almost hated the movie after I saw it too (I credit the post before me).... but it's not that bad.

If everything that was in the book was in the movie the movie would be like the next titanic...lol but they decided to cut the rong parts!!!! I saw it with all of my friends the 1st day and I was so0o0o disapointed because GoF is my favorite book!! waaa : (

What about the Quidditch World cup, that kinda stunk...
#1 The Twins had that bet with Ludo Bagman in the book... The one that said that Ireland would win, but Krum would get the snitch, they didn'y have that in the movie
#2 Ludo Bagman-whom was supposed to be the announcer at the quidditch world cup- wasn't even in the movie!!!
#3 They only way that you could tell that the Irish one was one line in the movie when one of the twins said "the Irish sure got their pride on" other then that you had no clue because all you saw was the beginning of the match.
#4 What about the Veela?
#5 Harry wasn't seperated from Ron and Hermione after the quidditch world cup in the book, and they also never saw Barty Crouch Jr. in the book they only heard him
#6 What about the house elf, Winky, that was supposed to be caught with the wand that caused the mark....she was never included in the movie at all, even though she was an important character in the book
That whole part of the movie was messed up!!!!

What about the ton tongue toffee, and Weasley's Wizard wheezes, you know all that stuff they were making in their room!!!

to much to say.. it was sad i was very unhappy with the movie.. but it's still better than all the others

Sorry about that...I didn'y do it on purpose the movie just irritated me so much... i did the movie such little justice and they left out parts that i was sooo looking forward to seeing

I think everyone has to realize that to put everything into this movie that was in the book, it would be about 9 hours, look at LotR, the total story itself is 900+ pages and then the Appendices, which some are actually included in the movies (Arwen, Liv Tyler's character, is barely in the books, but her story is given in the Appendices). Those movies are total about 9+ hours if you watch the theatrical, the extended editions are more like 11+ hours and things are still left out, like Tom Bombadil is just gone and Farmer Maggot is just breifly mentioned. I think GoF did a wonderful job of getting the story along with the time alotted, not like PoA, I just wish in that movie it would have mentioned why Remus knew the map never lied.

SECOND:where was the part when Fleur would ask Ron if he'd finish the bouillabase???
THIRD:where was the part when snape and karkaroff were walking in the grounds and snape took out points for some kid sying on them?

SIXTH: where was the part when krum asked harry if there was something between him and hermioninny?
SEVENTH:where was the sphinx?
EIGHTH: where was the Ginormous spider?
NINTH: where were the skrewts?
TENTH:where was the scene when harry, ron, and hermione saw malfoy and his friends talking to an invisible walkie talkie?
ELEVENTH: where was the part when hermione caught rita skeeter as a bug?
TWELFTH: where was the part when moody was threatening vernon?
THIRTEENTH: where was the part when hermione kissed harry???

I just want to say, how dare they leave out SPEW? It's one of the best parts of the book!

But that's not all I didn't like! What happened to the part where the Weasley's go pick up Harry at the Durley's and they got stuck in the fireplace?!?! That's my favorite part of the book (I think it's pg. 43)! I know they can't put everything in the book on the movie but this was a short, FUNNY scene!

Oh well.....what can we do now right?...
