Default Pettigrew in PoA,Wormtail in GoF?
Something has been bugging me between everyone calling him Peter Pettigrew every time in PoA, then he was always called Wormtail in GoF. Why the change? Am I totally missing something?

well he goes by both names.. Peter Pettigrew is his real name and Wormtail is his nickname.. Peter seems to be what normal wizards refer to him as and Wormtail is what the DE and LV refer to him as.. just like normal wizards call Voldemort Voldermort and DE refer to him as the Dark Lord..

I think they refered to him as pettigrew in POA because thats the only way harry new him and then by the end of the book he realizes that it's pettigrew that is wormtail and then he just refers to him that way.
