Gryffindor Hermione was a nervous wreck!

Hermione was so nervous and jerky this film. It seemed like she was having PMS the entire movie. ( I don't mean to offend you ladies) First of all, she keeps yelling at Harry and Ron the entire movie. I know she is scared for Harry and thinks ron is the world's biggest prat, but C'mon! Then the Yule Ball, which with thaty upheavel she was understood. Especially by you ladies out there. But none the less Emma watson did an excellent job and if she reads this, she should know that she should keep up the good work.

I think that no one would have been able to play her more than Emma, she was great, and all this shouting at the boys and stuff, that was great becase after all she IS bossy. And she had to be angry at Ron, its his fault mainly. And she also had to be nervous because she was scared for Harry.

its a best friend's job to worry about each other when they're in trouble. i completely excuse hermione (and in turn emma) for being so nervous. who wouldn't be? can you honestly tell me that if your best friend was prancing about, fighting dragons and merpeople and whatnot, you'd be sitting in a field, plucking daisies and singing kumbaya? and ron deserved everything he got. he has long deserved that yelling.

I actually prefer this Hermione to PoA Hermione. She was really stressed in the movie as she was in the book. I think it was more of a stricking difference between GoF and PoA because Hermione was scripted to play the more "Girl Power" part in PoA. This time she was way closer to the canon Hermione.

And since the movie went so fast, she theoretically could have had PMS everytime we saw her...

I think Emma Watson did an excelent job as Hermione. ****, I know I would have yelled at Ron if I were in that position. He got what was comming to him. As for the being nervous part, since people die in the tournament I think she would have been a lousy friend if she was all happy and whatnot.

sure she was fine with the yelling at times, but i didnt get the "you two,get to bed now!" when i heard that line i did a double take and went "What?" i dont know..it just sounded weird to me.
i think they might have overdone the frustration between ron/hermione in this movie..it should be subtle, but it wasnt that bad. but i think, for those who havent read the books, you'd definitely see harry/hermione chemistry instead of ron/hr..

Hermione was more canon in this film. She's meant to be worried, anxious. You're noticing the difference because she was truer in this film. PoA Hermione was the one that was very different. The character is meant to be bossy.

I think Emma did an excellent job as Hermione this film, I actually think Emma was a lot more Hermione like in this movie because she was a lot more bossy, she was always studying and helping Harry get prepared for the tasks, and she was very jumpy which is kind of how Hermione is supposed to be, I honestly think Emma has improved a lot in her acting since POA, I thought she was very convincing and did a wonderful job

She was worried which is perfectly normal. And the yelling at Ron part, he deserved it. I felt so sorry for her.

of course Hermione was a nervous wreck.
firstly both of her best friends in the world were not talking to each other.
and then, one of them suddenly was forced into this very dangerous tournament that would've killed him.
she was bossy and of course bossy people always yell (look at my mum )
and she was a loyal friend, look how worried she was about harry.
and she was always studying, lookat the scene where students were staring to put their name in the goblet, she was reading a book.
that is a true Hermione, although her hair was less bushy and her teeth were all perfect, but i think this Hermione is closer to the character in the book, like in the first movie.
bravo Emma!

he he,no offense taken about the PMS thing,! well when I was wtaching the flim and she was all moddy in my head 'I was like omg she sounds like me when I'm going throu PMS ha she was rather annoying to me in this flim and in PoA she also annoyed me I think she tends to over act and crinkle about her forehead in a annoying elaborate way.Yah I guess I agree with you she dose play the part well and dose a fairly good job.But in this flim I was a tad bit annoyed by her 1

In this one, I found Hermione too panicky! Okay, we all know she was worried about Harry but it was a bit exaggerated, I guess. And a couple of times she came to the tears. I don't think it was told so in the book.

And most importantly, the biggest difference for me, she WASN'T in love with Victor in the book, but in the movie unfortunately she seemed so...

Yeah, I do think GOF Hermonie was much than POA Hermonie. She was def. true to the character and I'm glad.Although there was some parts which I would have changed what she did.

Emma definetly did Hermione justice in this film. She portrayed the side we've all been waiting to see...She was worried about Harry in this film alot but she was also LoveStruck. Caught up between Krum, feeling sweep off her feet and contending with Ron's jealousy/love fits.
i thought she did an excellent job...good acting, good directing.

Well, the whole "go to bed now" thing was really just Hermione snapping at something because she was like flustered or something. It's like a defense mechanism or something. She was mad at Ron, so she snapped. And really, I think Harry and Hermione did spend more time in the book, with Ron and Harry fighting and Harry in the tournament, so it makes sense in the movie. And I'd just like to say that she was brilliant, I think. My friend doesn't think she's that great of an actress, but I love her. No one could play Hermione better than Emma.

I liked GOF hermione very very much........she was bound to be nervous in this book because she has become a teenager and she has got krum noticing her.......and she had to cope up with that stress......moreover she was stuck when harry and ron were'nt talking to each other.....she had to convince both of them.......harry more because he was put in a dangerous tournament.........i felt Emma did a brilliant job as hermione........it was her best performance after SS.......she was good!!
