Honestly? It's one of the only scenes I want exactly like the books. I want all the dead people out of Voldemort's wand, the death eater stuff, the little fight between Harry and Voldemort, Harry carrying Cedric's body back... everything. It's an important scene that I don't think can be messed with too much without ruining it. And that goes for everything... the feel of it, the look of it, the acting, the writing... if one element is out of place, it'll ruin the whole thing.

Yeah, if thsat scene follows the book real well, I think the rest of the movie will be just great!

I think for the movie the graveyard part will be very toned down. Unless the movie is going to be pg-13. If it's PG a lot of things will be very toned down.
They won't show wormtail cutting his arm off. I hope this scene is played very good cause it's one of the most emotional, scary and heartbreaking scene in all the 5 books.

Well, I think it'll be natural for the movies to go into PG13 at some point, and GoF might be the movie. There's an actual death in this movie and I don't think they'll cut that out to keep it PG. Not that one death necessarily would make it PG13, but the scenes with it would make them consider a PG13 rating.

There's two deaths -- Frank Bryce & Cedric Diggory. I don't think they're taming it down either, from what we've heard from Mike Newell, the dark elements are very much there - I even read an article to my delight which had him referring to the people from the wand and priori incantenem.

I don't think they'd make it over PG coz loads of lil kids will want 2 c it. they def wont show pettigrew cutting his arm off coz Harry doesn't even c that, he closes his eyes remember.

Just because Harry closes his eyes doesn't mean the camera will be blind to it. The film-makers aren't going to tame down the film for the children. They have to stay true to the spirit and that involves a sacrifice on Wormtail's part.

Let's not get onto ratings, there's a topic already for that! Stay on-topic please!

OOooooo baby baby,Oooo baby baby! That is going to be the wickedest part in the whole movie. It gets all my votes:
MOST ANTICIPATED
MOST EXCITING & DREADED (because of the deaths, darkness and evil)

I hope that they portray it exactly how I've benn seeing it in my head (which is in very specific detail of exactly how the book described it accurately).

That's one scene I hope they do verbatum from the book. I don't want deviation from it. I think it will be awesome.

It would be nice if they were accurate to the book. make it PG-13. it will have to be at some time, especially book 5. Toning down things can make it worse.

I think they would lose a lot of the younger audience if they keep it true to the book, so I do see a possibility of them toning it down. From a business stand point this makes sense. Fans may not like it, but it might happen.

My choice however, would be a middle of the road approach=violence minus gore. There is a difference. I think it would be wicked to show the arm being cut off through a shadow. The perspective could be from just behind Harry's head on the left side. On the screen you would see a 3/4 view of Harry's head on the right of the screen, and a gravestone in the center with a shadow depicting the action. Nothing is cut out, but it is less gory.

I hope that the scene is not written out and replaced with something else-not that I think it will happen, but it is a possibility. It happens more than I'd like to think about.
