And HP won't go above PG-13. There's no reason for it to.

You couldn't just take the words out instead of deleting an entire post that had other points to it? I've been to a lot of boards who don't want swearing, and that's usually what they do...

Any ways... since I have to re-make my point, if you re-read the statement, which I can't quote to make my point, it says because someone refers to that statement (oh, isn't this fun?) and to me, TVGuide was insinuating that the term is in the movie. Or something similiar because it says a 'reference' to. If it was just insinuating that Voldemort itself is a curse word, why not write, "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named"? Since they're obviously smart enough to know that "Voldemort"'s name is a no-no in the wizarding world...

well i think its an apprpriate rating for the movie cuz there are gonna be some really disgusting scenes in it.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to rate it PG-13, just to be safe. of course there are alot of parents who only let their kids watch something *they* think is right.

I dont think that quote is from the movie either, but I wouldn't be suprised if that type of language is used. *Flashback* Aunt Marge used the "B" word in PoA and Ron is quite notorious for having a potty mouth

Aunt Marge was using that word as the term for a female dog, even though she was also using it a metaphor for Lily.

i would hope it would be pg 13 because then we know that i guess it would be more graphic but it is considered a childrens book so im not sure

GOF book is a dark one. So the movie is supposed to be darker..You knew of course the effective things that the directors done in their movies. It's quite right that they do rating like that. Kids wouldn't bear to see a death ( As I think ).

I think pg13 is indeed best, there will be some pretty scary stuff in it and this way the parents are warned...of course, many will just ignore the pg-rating I'm sure...

I am not yet 13, and I hope my parents will let me see it. They have never let me see a PG-13 movie in theaters before. but if it comes down to begging, I will. I think that you are right it should be rated PG-13... but I still don't like it. I want to see if anyone agrees with me I think the should switch PG, and PG-13..

I think that the rating is perfect for the film.It is a whole lot darker than the other films so the rating fits it.I think the rating is PG-13 because of all the dark scenes and all the fire and the fighting and everything.So I think that it fits the film really nice.

I think it's OK that it's PG-13, because it's only rated that for violence and frighting images, not for anything else, so i can see it still. I think there might be more swear words, because in some PG-13 movies dont say in the ratings that there is swearing.

On what i said before ive reconsidered it. Like some other people have said i think that it may be a 12 cert in the UK. Since seeing some of the more recent pics they've given us it does seem to be alot scarier than previous HP movies. The scariest part in PoA is defo the Lupin/werewolf transformation. In CoS it's the spiders. There isnt anything scary in PS/SS.

If we have the sneak peaks to go by this is gonna be scary. Not like a 15 cert but with the Quidditch World Cup scene it sounds like it will be a bit scary!

It will be ashame for the young ones because they wouldnt be able to see it till it's DVD/VHS release! After all it is a "children's book!"
