"Peter you stupid idiot why did you do that?" Sirius hissed angrily "You ruined everything" Remus said sharply, they had terrified faces, and then all of a sudden Lily scurried away, her face the colour of a midsummer sunset.

Lily turned around enraged and straightened out her dress, "Well now I see what this was, have your friends spy on us so that they could see what was going on? Very smooth James, you're a jerk!"

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" James roared at the three of them, "The only chance I get to go out with her and YOU ruin it! It was going fine until you three turned up!" and after that he hurried off to look for Lily.

Sirius listened to James and before he could rebuttle he was gone, "Nice going Wormtail, look what you did now!"

"What he did?" said Remus in disbelief, "Who dragged us all the way down here Padfoot?"

While Remus, Sirius and Peter argued, Lily was walking back to the castle with her hands in fists and saying, "Ugh! I hate him, I knew this was a bad Idea, he'll always be an Immature child."

James was running as fast as he could to reach her and when he finally did, he grabed her by her arm and said "Lily I'm really sorry, I had no idea that they were going to be spying on us-" "Let go of my arm Potter, before I start screaming for help" said Lily sharply.

James released Lily's arm and stepped away, "I really am sorry, I don't know what they were doing there, it had to be Sirius' idea."

"Well I don't care who's idea it was, I now despise you more than ever James Potter!" said Lily as tears started to roll down her cheeks.

James shook his head and wanted to wipe away her tears but didn't, "Very well, I better go back and see how my friends are doing." he walked away with his hands in his pockets.

Lily just stood there with her arms crossed and tears running down her cheeks, that's it?, she thought as she saw James walk away, then she started to walk in the opposite direction towards the castle, I can't believe I was exited about actually going out with him...

Meanwhile back at the Cabin in the woods, Sirius, Remus, and Peter walked out of the front door, "Yeah well, you two blokes followed me and agreed, so there its your fault too! bellowed Sirius

"What do you think you're doing here?!" James shouted at them, the three of them were quiet, "Well I'm waiting for an answer!"

Sirius, James and Peter looked at one another and back at James, "Why James we were just leaving and going back to the castle," said Remus with a faint smile on his face.

"Oh come on! I know you can do better than that! I've known you for almost 7 years now, I share a room with all of you, and even you know you can't lie to me!" said James in complete indignation.

Sirius looked at James and shook his head, "We were bored mate, and trust me everything would have been fine, if someone.." he said as she pushed Peter lightly, "wouldn't have fallen through the cracked window!"

"Well I don't care who's fault it was" said James "the three of you where here, when you shouldn't have and you ruined it, well done!" and with that said, he turned around and started walking towards the castle.

Remus, Peter and Sirius looked at eachother and shook their heads, "Well no use in us staying here, lets go before we get caught." said Remus as they began to walk.

Once they got to Gryffindor tower, they walked into the common room and neither James nor Lily where anywhere to be found, they decided to go up to their dorm room and James wasn't there eigther, "Where do you think he has gone?" squeeked Wormtail.

Sirius looked over at Peter and said, "Gee If I knew we would be with him now wouldn't we Peter?"

Peter just blushed, "Don't have a go at him Sirius, you know it's not entirely his fault, there's nothing we can do now but apologize-" and Remus was interrupted by Sirius "Yeah well, if he wasn't as clumsy as he is, we wouldn't be in such trouble!" and he stormed away, thinking, maybe there is someting we can do to get them back together.

Back in the common room, James entered through the portrait hole and made his way to the staircase, "What do you want Black?" asked James as Sirius came down the stairs.

"Black?" said Sirius in astonishment, "Since when do you call me Black?" James just gave him a dirty look and continued to climb the stairs up to his room.

James stopped and turned around and looked at him, "Since you crashed in on the date that was a one in a million chance to prove to Lily that I care about her, and that I'm not some immature joker, like she thinks I am!"

"But you're not!" cried Sirius, "Well, now she doesn't know that, does she?" replied James.
