Secret Wishes? Hmm...well like any person on the planet I would imagine that James only wished (hoped) to live a long and fulfilling life. I'm sure that after Harry was born he was probably eager to have more children. Seeing how he was the only child in his family, I'm sure he would have liked to have had more children. As is often the case when one comes from a small family, you usually want to expand from your current situation. =D | |

Well, I think James dearly wanted to see Harry play Quidditch. I don't know why, but it's the first thing that comes to my mind. I think he wanted to see Harry grow up, and be a carbon copy of him when it came to pranks and broomsticks. But, thanks to Peter Pettigrew, he couldn’t.  | |

I agree with everyone else about wanting to live a long life, but I also think he might wanted to become an icon in the magic because who doesn't want to be famous?!?!?! Also we saw in OotP that he always liked getting attention so maybe he'd want that in his adult life.... who knows! | |

Well in my Opinion his primary and most wanted secret wish might be about his friends especially the loverly Sirius. I'm sure he wanted to see Sirius as a beauty Peagant and to settled with a loverly family  And moreover he would have really wish to rescue Moony from his deadly sickness(werewolf) | |

Good points Mathi. James probably had many wishes that didn't necessarily have to do with his own happiness. Simply because we all know that our James wasn't at all selfish.
I'm sure he wished good wealth and fortune towards his friends and anyone who showed him and those he cared about respect. | |

I think Jamesy just wanted to watch Harry grow up and become the person he'd become, live his life out with Lily and have more kids. I'm betting he also wished for Remus to be cured of his "disease" and to find someone who would love him despite his "furry problem"  [which he did later - Tonks]. I think he also wished the same for Sirius.. for him to find someone like he found Lily that he could spend the rest of his life with and be happy with.  | |

I totally agree [at least about the settling down part ]. I'm sure Prongs wanted Sirius to find a lovely girl and settle down, raise a family. And, of course, continue his pranks with Jamesy. =p It would have been so awesome, it's lovely just imagining it. Sirius coming over to Godric's Hollow [What? Here, in our FC? XP  ] with his wife and kids. *dreamysigh* Ahhh...

He also wanted the war to end and help wizards win against voldie and the DE. I guess he must've wanted loads of things but thanks to voldie he wasn't able to achieve any of them
