The month of July is just around the corner and we need a little help to kick off the celebration. It’s time to put on your Thinking Cap and gather your black rimmed Harry Potter glasses for a month of fun and writing. Being part of the Snitchseeker Fan Clubs, the Admins and Mods have come up with a bit of fun with spectacular roles for all Fan Club members to enjoy and take part in.
As you know, Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final novel from the Harry Potter series. What if you, the members, could write the final book the way you see it or the way you would like it to end? Well, the time has come to hear your side of the story as told by your favorite Fan Club character in ‘Fanclub Fanfic’.
What we need from the Fan Clubs right now is for you, as a team, to agree on a topic or storyline for your character. You may participate in more than one Fan Club, it is all up to you, just as long as you have fun. Start a thread within the characters forum or have a discussion in the thread and have everyone post their thoughts and contributions to the story, to see where the novel would start and end.

Obviously our dear James has passed on to the other side, so we'll have to do it as him looking down on the situation (as stated above) or we can bring him back? -shrugs- I'm not too crazy about the whole "bringing him back" but whatever you guys think would be best is cool. ^.^
I don't have many ideas at the moment but I'll post again later when something hits me. So post your ideas and let us know what is running through your gorgeous little heads.  <3 |

I don't think we need to have James necesarily looking down on them from heaven. The story should be told from his point of view but it could be a more objective point of view... Maybe he could have some insight from the past on why Voldemorts did some of the things he did and maybe he could somehow communicate with Harry and help him defeat Voldie... Tell me what you think. | |

Well, I think it would be a nice idea to have the story go on from two viewpoints - one Harry's, the other James's. I don't think I can put what I want to say into words, so here's an example.
Harry tightened his grip on his wand, the arctic wind ruffling his hair. It was a chilly day, and the wind cut his cheek like a sharpened knife as he breathed in many a lungful of salted air.

He was speeding through the air, cheered on by a hyper Lily Evans. James Potter shook his head, and the memory faded away. Now, all was black. He could feel the chills his son was feeling, and he desperately wanted his son to win the battle between good and evil.
So James IS looking at Harry from above, but we aren't describing from where because, I just thought of this, not all SS members believe in heaven, and I would want our FF to be free from any religious barriers. No?

I reeeeeeeeeeally like that Idea Maxie! <3 I wonder if that would be okay though, seeing how Harry would be involved too, but I wouldn't see why not. -shrugs- But that would be a good way to do it, its the only way that really makes sense.
And yes to the free from religious barriers thing. James' location really isn't of any importance...I mean we just need to know that he is watching. Although saying that he is watching "over" Harry is a clear indication that he is not in this world and in some other realm of higher beings. -shuts up & totally believes in heaven xD- But yes I agree with you Maxie luff. <3 | |

I definetly agree with Maxie! That is a very cool way to put it! And the religious-free barrier thing I think is the way to go because Harry Potter isn't exactly linked to religion  Great ideas!  When should we begin writting this and how are we going to distribute the work? | |
