1. If you are interesting in becoming an officer of the club, please send a PM to me, Lissydove or stepsmad4eva1984. We want to make this fun and see how great your imagination is on some of them so make it as interesting as you can.

Your entries must be in by 12th July, 2006

3. What career path did James deside on after leaving Hogwarts?
4. During what year did James learn his animagus form? Why did he learn this form?
5. How did James save Snape's life?
6. What special item did James have that was given to Harry at Christmas time during his 1st year at Hogwarts?
7. Name the two actors portraying James in the movies.
8. What date did James and Lily's fatal death take place and where?
9. What was James' animagus form?
10. Describe what you think James was like. It could be during his school days, with other people such as Lily, Sirius or the Marauders themselves. It is your choice.

2. There might be a little problem with not being able to post, please be patient with the thread as it is being looked into at the present time. If you are having problems, please let either me, Lissydove or stepsmad4eva1984 know. Thanks!

3. We here at the James Potter Fan Club are in search of Graphics Officers. Myself, Lissydove (Lissy) and stepsmad4eva1984 (Cat) will be judging the entries for the club. If you are interested, please PM the following to one of us:

- Two graphics made by you. They will be one each of the following:
- A avatar (100x100 Pixels, no bigger than 20kb).
- A signature (According to SS signature size requirements)

You will need to make these relating to James of course! Fan art is fine, just make sure and state where you found it and remember that there are two people now playing James, Young and older.

The deadline for applications will be Wednesday 12th of July, one week from today! Good luck and happy doodling!

5. This is a listing of the Officer's functions within the fan club. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Vice President:

~ Will assist presidents in keeping JPFC in order and making sure that all SS Rules are followed at all times
~ forward any ideas to officers
~ help in monitoring JPFC


Secretary:

~ collect, compile and forward JPFC information to presidents
~ keep records of the ongoing JPFC activities
~ draw up lists of issues discussed in JPFC meetings

Treasurer:

~ keep track and have permission to award points to members in case of competitions, contests, etc
~ keep records of members’ prizes and conduct within competitions
~ keep a list of the above mentioned, forward it to presidents on a regular basis

Activity Officers:

~ expected to forward their ideas/initiatives to the presidents
~ responsible with doing activity reminders and organization among members
~ working as liaisons between presidents and the other members (especially those not occupying officer positions) - keep contact with them

Club Promotion Officers:

~ responsible with recruiting new members
~ promoting the JPFC throughout the site
~ representing the JPFC in relation to the other fan clubs

Graphics Makers:

~ responsible with designing JPFC graphics for club promotion, as well as member use
~ to be contacted in the case of awarding graphics as part of prizes for competitions
~ responsible with designing of graphics for competitions

Spam Officers:

SPAM or s.p.a.m.- Stands for Short Pointless Annoying Message. Any posting that is off-topic, repeated or very short is considered SPAM.

~ responsible for making sure SPAM is kept within the appropriate place, Chat only.
~ report any SPAM or any other unusual activities found within the club walls to Officers. Make sure to include a link to post so that it will be easily spotted

Birthday Bash

As you all know, JK Rowling and Harry's birthday are at the end of this month and in celebration SS has set up an awesome Birthday Bash forum for us all. Within the forum is an open letter to JK and Ithilien and I thought it would be special if we gathered all the members of JPFC and each of us wrote a nice birthday wish to the Diva herself, JK. If you are not sure where to find the opened letter, Click Here. I have noticed a few people have already been there but it would be nice to thank JK for making such a wonderful character as James.

JPFC's First Contest Winner

I am here to announce, that the decision of the first ever JPFC Contest winner has been determined. Now before I announce the winner, I have to say that the entries placed in by you, our members, were fantastic and I wish that we could have chosen all. I want to thank you so very much for the time you spent on making your wonderful poems and I hope that you all enter the next competition we will have coming up soon. Another New Contest

JPFC has a new Captions Contest that can be found here! I do hope that every participates in that it will be something good for everyone to join in on the fun. Remember to PM your entries to me. Anyone that post their entries in the thread, it will be deleted. Fair warning!

Also remember that the above graphics contest is still going on. I only have 2 entries at this point and I need a few more so all graphic makers send in your entries to me.

Edit: The last day for the Captions contest will be Sunday, October 6th. Make sure and send in your entries to me!

I am pleased to announce, that JPFC has a new President in the house, SenoritaMaxie! She has gladly accepted the position and I would like everyone to give a warm welcome to Maxie for her hard work and dedication to James!

This also means that there is a new spot opened within JPFC Officers, Vice President. We are currently searching for a new VP and will make the announcement as soon as possible.

As we all know, JPFC has been in search of a new Vice President and without further a due, I am pleased to announce that BrightestWitch, Jordana has accepted the position. Let's give a warm welcome to her.

Also, I am very pleased to announce that for the Secretary position, since Jor moved up, I am also here to announce that i m a potter fool , Le/Prancie, has accepted this position.

Both girls have worked very hard in helping me with Prongs Hangman and I am very proud of them along with the rest of Officers. You all do such a wonderful job in keeping James alive and growing! Thank you to all!

Announcements:

Good SS to everyone! First thing is first...if you have not read THIS thread posted by Touz, I would do so...so that you are aware of what is going to happen for the Christmas season. SS fanclubs will be hosting the holiday themed surprises for December this year and you, as members, along with your Sponsors and Presidents, will take part in this wonderful extravaganza.

The James Potter Fan Club will be schedule for Day 3 - December 5-6 along with the Lily Potter Fan Club. Once again, James and Lily will be together for a wonderful holiday celebration.

Also keep in mind that this will be for all members on SS to enjoy. Some may not know that there are wonderful fan clubs on SS that they can join, so this will be our time to shine and gather new members for the fan club.

If you have a creative idea about the 12 Days of Potter Christmas Celebration, then pass along your wonderful ideas to your presidents/sponsors. We will see to it that everyone knows that your idea was created by you.

I am pleased to announce that our dear JPFC Founder, Stacey [LadyNerd] has moved up from President to JPFC Sponsor. Hence, we have a new President – Jordana [BrightestWitch], who has accepted the position.

Hello fellow JPFC members! I would just like to announce the four games that will be kept.

So without further ado, here are the JPFC Games:

As I stated before in the voting thread, we can always alternate games once a game has reached its post limit. This means that once a game has reached its limit of posts it will be closed and a new game will be opened in its place. This will ensure that we stay below the "Four Game Rule".

Its just a suggestion and doesn't have to be followed through. I'm just throwing it out there for you guys to think about.

Not only are they nice eye candy, but it would be a great way to promote the Club and maybe get more members to join.
