Do you have a topic about our favorite Marauder that you would like to discuss? Here is your chance! Your Officers have come up with a way to help get everyone involved in our James dicussions.

Each week we will have a thread with a topic about James to discuss. It can be anything from his Marauder days, what happened on 'that night' at Godric's Hollow, or what kind of dad do you feel he would have been to Harry, whatever you like (within SS rules of course).

Here is how it will work: our very first topic will be posted by an officer. Future topics will be filled by request. If you would like to open a James discussion, please post in this thread and tell us what you would like to discuss. When approved, an officer will edit your post and tell you what week you will start your topic, so please check in here often. On the first day of that week, you will post a thread. Please be sure and make it clear in the thread title what you are discussing and stop into the thread often during that week to help guide discussion. If you are assigned a week that is bad for you, please PM the officers so we can re-assign that week and give you a better one for your schedule. We ask that you do not simply let the week pass with no topic.

Why do you think that Dumbledore placed a prankster like James as Head Boy? Do you think that James deserved this position? Do you think that pranks were still played while Head Boy? Why did James Fall for Lily??

Do we really know how James got to like Lily???? We need to find out atleast an idea to tell us Why James fell for the Evans Girl!!

Hey Stacey, I have an idea for a discussion but I don't know if it should be a one week discussion or a new thread... And I also don't know if we should start it now, or until the next movie comes out. But here's the idea: It's a discussion about what people here (at the BEST FC ever) think about James in the books AND in the movies! Of course it'd be better to start this thread when OOTP comes out because we could see how they portrayed James in Snape's worst memory and to be able to compare and contrast him to James in the book. I also think it's a little early for it now because James in the movies hasn't had a very big part... or a part at all! Every time he appears, he is only a ghost, and he barely says anything. So what do you think? After all you are the clubs Pressie

Stacey: Well, as you said, we really do not know what James is like in the movies except for moving pictures and the end of GOF. We might want to wait until the next movie comes out and then we can see our dear Robbie Jarvis portraying our Marauder!

EDIT: I agree, it's better to just wait.

Perhaps a discussion about how we think the Marauders came to be and their impact on the school.
