Goblet of Fire really exciting year of Harry's life. When Harry's name came out of the goblet (even though he doesn't put his name) I was excited and shout aloud in joy. I want harry to participate in it. But the rules and Harry's unintrested speaks makes me think that harry will not participate in it. But to my Surprise his name came out with fire and enjoyed the scene.
How did you feel when Harry's name burst out of the Goblet?

I felt "Here we go. Get ready, Harry"

Mostly surprise. But then again, strange things like that always do seem to happen to Harry. Then worry. He is, of course, underage. I would have been terrified if I was him.

I personally thought it was rather odd and wanted to find out how it got in.

I wasn't really surprised since I figure Harry would be part of it all somehow.

i knew that harry would get into the tournament because he would have to be apart of the tournament somehow

I was really surprised :O
I thought one of the champions will drag him there, and then everthing will complicate...
How wrong I was xD

I wasnt surprised because I was waiting for something big to happen but I was still excited because of the task Harry was about to endure, and I wanted to read about what the gang were going to do.

this was how I reacted:

First I was suprised, then I was shocked, then I was excited for Harry; I couldn't wait to find out what will happen to him.

I was impressed, because I knew Dumbledore would make it near impossible to trick the goblet. So I knew it couldn't have been Harry, cause let's face it, he doesn't have that impressive skill. I was just trying to connect the dots. But you have to notice how gifted Barty Crouch Jr. must have been!! To get through APWBD's defenses and get Harry into that graveyard!! Not to mention that he tricked everyone all year into believing he was Mad-Eye, even when they knew something weird was going on!!

I kind of expected it to happen.

I knew it from the begining .. Harry is the hero of the books, so he had to be choosen. lol

I was pretty surprised, I'm pretty sure I actually re-read the passage a few times to make sure I read it right the first time. Felt it was pretty great though, just the excitement that Harry is always getting into.

I was not surprised that Harry's name came out of the Goblet because I didn't think that J K Rowling would have a dangerous tournament and not put Harry in the middle of it. I was curious as to how his name got into the Goblet even though he didn't put his name in the Goblet

i felt that his name coming out of the goblet was a thriller and made the book more exciting, but then again i always wondered what would have happened if his name didn't and he would have a normal life and not worry so much. I loved the twist in the plot, and i thought "everything bads happens to him, and he is right trouble usually finds him."

I expected him to be in it at first but then when he didnt enter I thought the it wasn't going to happen, so I was fairly surprised

As much as I had expected his name to be chosen since bad things always happen to him my heart still sank for him. I was actually in shock as well seeing how he never entered his name.
It was a good change of emotion in the book. It was like a "here we go again" type of emotion. I was jsut ready for bad things to start happening to him.

Well it didn't really come as a surprise because everything seemed to happen to Harry. But I have to admit it did bug me throught the entire book as to who actually put his name in.

I saw the movie before the book, but even so I knew he would be a part in it some how, so I wasn't really that shocked.

I felt confused at first. But I bet harry felt panicky and betrayed. But I started to understand when the film started to come to an end. Because that's when I found out that mad eye moody was really Barty crouch jr. And that he put Harrys name in the goblet.

My first thought was that Draco got his father to do it, so Harry would fall flat on his face.

Yeah, Barty Jr. received 12 outstanding OWLs, if memory serves me correctly. He was no doubt a very intelligent and talented wizard, and it's no wonder Voldemort wanted him on his side.

As for Harry's name coming out of the Goblet, I wasn't surprised at all. I assumed he'd participate, since he is the main character and, paraphrasing Hagrid, everything seems to happen to him (of course it does, or else the series wouldn't be called Harry Potter! ).
