I really didnt like her and I think that when she does her parts in the movie you can see how fake it is. I think that they could have gotten someone else better to play that part. I agree with you all. I think her dad payed them to put her in the movie.
Somehow I seriously doubt the producers and crew of HP would let themselves be swayed by somebody trying to bribe them to put his daughter in an HP movie. It's ludicrous. By the time the fourth movie came around, the franchise had grossed over 2 billion dollars, so there was absolutely no need whatsoever for bribes at all. And, besides, they would have had a veritable riot on their hands if it was ever leaked that somebody unsuited for such a pivotal role got the part.
Well I think that her parents paid the producers for her to be in this film because there was nothing whatsoever in the book about cho being Asian. So this is my suspicion.

Katie Leung is beautiful. But sometimes, she was just lacking in terms of dramatic prowess for the role. But then, well, she's Cho Chang that was once Harry's girlfriend.
