I don't mean to be critical of editing, but here we can talk about the things that they bypassed in Goblet of Fire whilst editing. For example: in the scene where Harry is talking to Sirius in the fire, and Ron comes down to the lounge? Did you notice a black thing moving in the background at the top of the screen?I did, it is quite wierd, but I swear I saw it! Please, tell me what you think of this and other things that you find.

i saw the exact same black thing too. i personally thought i was seeing things, but after rewinding that scene a couple of times, it's still there.

I always wondered if it was the shadow of one of the film crew from the film light.

You know, I think it's just something that they might have CGI'd in there for effect. Because, after all, it's Hogwarts. Or, it could have been the shadow of someone going up the stairs or starting to come down, and then hearing voices and going back up so as not to disturb whoever was having the conversation downstairs. Things like that don't bother me, because they're so small and they don't impact the movie in any way.

I don't keep my eye out for mistakes, I just watch the films. But was it exactly the part where he was talking to sirius in the fire that you saw it or after that?
