I vote for the book!
I saw the movie before I read the book & I could tell important stuff was missing. The movie did jump around. Most of it was flimed really dark.
I wasn't sure if I even liked the movie after I saw it for the first time. It was just so different. I know the movies can't have everything the books contain but it didn't fit together as well as the others movies.
Now that I've read the book & watch the movie a few more time I do like it better. I think reading the book gave me a better understanding of what was going on.
I've liked all of the books better than the movies. I think the movies supplement the books but to get the full the story you have to read the books! |

Abby Radcliffe I totally agree with you on that. The book is much indepth and very detailed with vivid images that can come to your mind that you can see everything that is happening. That is the reason I like the books because I can always picture myself there and I see everything that is happening and it's like you're apart of the world. |

I liked both but i think if i really really really had to choose one i think i would choose the book because the movie left so many things out. I can understand why they had to but i think the movie is just as good as the book.

I like both the books and the movies, but the books the most, because in my opinion, the movies can't compare.

I like the book more then the movie because the movie is missing alot of stuff. and I was disapointed when I saw the maze in the movie, what happened to all those cretures that you had to battle?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Emerson Gray. Fourth Year | G1GGL3R! *giggles* My GarBear I personally think that no matter how great the movie, it could never beat the book. The movie can never include all the parts from the book which means that those who haven't read the book are often left a little confused or not getting the mini-plots that come along with the main plot of the whole series. |

I prefer the book. The movie was really good. But Alot of my fave things didn't make the movie! And I wanted to see the kicthen scene!
Plus I just find the books better in general becuase they go more in depth.. i know the movies cant be like 7 hours long... but us HP fans wouldnt mind if they were

I loved the book!!! I liked the movie a lot too but I just thought that a lot of good parts were missing. The books were more detailed and there was S.P.E.W and Winky, the kitchen scenes and a much better Quidditch World Cup scene.

I would say I like the movie because I have never read the book, but I think the book also pretty awesome also.

I definitely like the book better. But that's not really saying much, since I will always say the book if given a choice between a book or a movie.
