I definitely prefer the book. Bits were missed out in the film. But my mum who has never read the books thought the film was amazing, so I guess it was good for fans and new comers too! But still book wins everytime for me.

Fourth | yeh i prefer the book too because its more detailed but yet there's the points for movies too, it gives you much suspense & the picture itself of the decreibed text in the books so like if you have difficulty imagining what would a creature or something else look like the movies are better.. i still miss some points...hehehe!

The book of course. May be at the movie we could see actors, scenes of some thing we imagined in the book but there are more detailes and more excitment.

I like both! The book, and movie.
THE MOVIE
Although it cut LOUDS out I still loved it. It added lots too I still enjoyed it! It was defently my favourit movie. Emma, Rupert and Dan are growing up with the movie, witch is greate and thay are looking more and more cute. But mostly Dan
THE BOOK
It was a great book, like the movie, my fav- You can tell thay're getting older, and it gets tough for them. It's like reading another life! JKR has deffrently got talent! |

That's true.... Movie gives the features of creatures which we aren't able to imagine . But I don't think it'll give us suspense since we already know what is gonna happen from the book. |

MOVIE! It was so awesome and i love watching books get translated into movies. I think the main parts were in the movie that needed to be in there!

book definitly, there are so many interpretations in books way more than movies. Though the movies add an extra media to the atmosphere : music. But the GoF book has more magicalness to it. It has more characters in it such as Sirius (in full body) Ludo etc. Also you can interpret in your own way. You almost make a movie in your head when you're reading.

The book is so much better! I was really disappointed with the movie and it is by far my favorite book so far. Though I do like the visual aspect of a movie, this one didn’t do HP justice I don’t think.

Though I hate to sound like everyone else I HAVE to say that the book was better. There is rarely a movie that surpasses the book that it was based off of. The way that they did Goblet of Fire was GREAT. Truly, the digital affects were awsome and they sticked to the book better than PoA. Yet, as everyone said. Things WERE missing. If someone went to see the movies and never read the books AND didn't have a friend to tell them what's going on....they would be confused. They wouldn't get it as much as we do.

I prefer the book but the movie was really good. I just can't stand Neville telling about gillyweed.
And there's more action in the book so I like it more.

The book was better, although there's a lot of action of GoF, I wish it didn't go so fast!! (seemed to end quickly, I thought...)

Hmm...both were really great, but I think all in all, I liked the book better. I mean, there's so much stuff in books that you can never capture in a movie...and I found that the movie rushed through quite a few things and left out a bunch.

Book cuz I could imagine things my way not how it looks in the Set Design people's mind. Chunks were missing from the movie that I loved in the book(Dobby, SPEW, Ton-Tongue Toffe) am I right? I do love the movie though it just isn't the same.

The book by far. I don't think they do as good of a job as they could on the movies.
