As you can probably tell I am obsessed [and proud of it] with Rupert Grint. But this movie [to me] really seemed to be more centered around Harry [Daniel Radcliffe] and Hermione [Emma Watson] and their friendship growing stronger still. And Ron just didn't seem to stand out as much in this film as he did in the other films. [I am looking at this from a view that is not centered around Rupert Grint.] What do you guys think?

i agree with u. i 2 feel that there was 2 much Harry and Hermione and that they just sort of forgot about Ron(Rupert)

i kinda agree that they kinda wanted to make it seem like harry and hermione are becoming 'more than freinds' and just left ron out

I don't think he was left out...But it does seem like Hermoine and HARRY are closer in the movies...
A friend thinks it's just for the people who watch the movies and don't read the books. It would be somewhat of a shocker when they fnd out who ends up together.
The movies make you think Harry/Hermie are gonna get together and I think that's the only reasoning by it.
However, I'll be rooting for more Ron scenes in OOTP.

This director seems to be sailing the wrong ship.In the other movies you see distinct Ron/Hermione moments but this one has Harry and Hermione looking as if they're falling in love with the before task hug and by the lake Urg!....poor Ron/Rupert was just there in the background really.He was kinda like a back ground character like Neville or Dean

Ron didn't get any role but only funny lines and this made me angry. We all know that Ron is closer to Harry than Hermione and Harry said that himself in book 4. I don't know what Kloves wants but Harry and Hermione won't be together. I hope on the movie 5, they give Ron his role not only funny lines to make people laugh only.

I also agree that there was too little of Ron in the film, but he was still more than Neville or Dean. Although I think is most important task in the film was saying the funny lines. The film should have centered more on the friendship between Harry and Ron and the future R/Hr relationship.

I just hope that our new screenwrite will be better than Kloves and won't sail the H/Hr ship.

As a ron fan i would have to say In a way yes. There isnt enough Cannon Ron in GOF i hope OOTP is better

Well, yes, it did center more around Harry. But I think they did a great job portraying all the actors in the right amounts of scenes. This book centers more around Harry's plight as a Champion and his role in resurrecting Voldemort, so it would make sense not to have as much Ron in it.

They didn't show him much.

No, there was a lot of Ron in the move.

I know. This makes me angry too because I love rupert Grint as well.
