Wow I am surprised to see all the votes for Ravenclaw. I do not think she was in Ravenclaw because she doesn't seem to be very book smart. I do however think that she is in it for herself. How can she make herself indispensable to her job! How can she make more money and get more fame. That sounds very selfish. My choice for her is Slytherin! Plus it seems to me she has it in for anyone that is not a pure blood. That is my opinion.  | |

I think she would be a Slytherin or Hufflepuff...But my vote is going more toward Slytherin because she is not loyal...She is an ambitious, sly person...
Plus, she didn't treat Hagrid, who is a half-breed, or Hermione, who is muggleborn very nicely, did she? In my opinion, she didn't treat Harry very nice either...remember, she wouldn't listen to him and all...

Slytherin- because she is mean and she did talk to all of the Slytherins, and if she was in a different house, then I don't think that she would talk to the Slytherins.

Though at the time i am writing this.I have not been sorted,I represent for Ravenclaw! As disappointed as this may b to some Rita possess both Ravenclaw and Slytherin qualities (mostly slytherin). she's wickedly clever (i.e. being an unregistered Animagi2scoop up stories) and she's also a sneaky little evil coniving devil (and i must say this is the nicest possible way in my mind2describe her) just like SneakyLilSyltherin'z.

There's a possibility for almost every House, but I think mostly Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
Ravenclaw: She needs to be clever to become an unregistered Animagus and not be discovered until Hermione. She needs to be clever to even become an Animagus.
Slytherin: She uses her Animagus powers for herself. She wants to help herself and be a reporter who comes up with crazy things that everyone will read.
Evidence against:
Ravenclaw: She was discovered as an Animagus, and I don't think she would be if she was really that clever. I also don't think that a Ravenclaw would even think about being an unregistered Animagus.
Slytherin: Is Rita Skeeter evil? I don't think she is evil because she wrote the article about Harry's side of the story for the Quibbler, didn't she?

I voted Slytherin because she's clever, but not in a Ravenclaw way. She seems really "slippery" too (ok, that didn't make sense) and she's just what I think a Slytherin non-DE would be. | |
