I say Ravenclaw because she seems intelligent, cunning, coniving but not completely evil. Remember, evil & good aren't like black & white; there are grey areas in between.

I think she was in Ravenclaw... just because she seems as though she knew what she was doing.. plus she seems pretty smart for being such a word twister.

I agree. She seems to be intelligent and cunning. She's not the evil type for Slytherin. She might be a bit evil, but not that much.

Ravenclaw, no doubt about it. Just like Neville seems like an "un-brave" Gryffindor, Skeeter can be bit of a shady Ravenclaw. They are cunning and clever, after all, but they can't be only those 2 qualities (or flaws, depends).

I'm torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

She wouldn't be in Gryffindor, she'd choose to save herself than risk her neck to save someone else. And not Hufflepuff, she would do anything for a story, so she may not stay loyal and certainly not fair.

I'd have to say...Slytherin. I don't think she's evil, just like I don't think that all Slytherin students are evil. I don't think that all Slytherins are evil. She has Slytherin qualities...

Cunningness
Stealth
Sneakiness
Ambitious
Determined

She doesn't strike me as book smart, but rather smart in a way that she can trick someone into thinking something else: through her lovely articles.

Sneaky, conniving, ambitious -- definitely Slytherin.

Remember, Slytherins aren't necessarily evil; it was said (I don't remember which character said it) that any wizard who went bad had been from Slytherin. Take Snape, for instance. He's mean, but not truly evil lke Lucius Malfoy or Voldemort.

She's ambitious. I'd say Slytherin. She may be smart, but ambition is her driving force.

Yes, not everyone from Slytherin is evil, but remember. Snape was. He was a DE for Voldemort. He might have changed his ways (we think) but at a point he was evil.

Yeah, I thought Ravenclaw immediately! She is not totally evil, but clever and cunning. Sometimes too much for her own good!

Hufflepuff, cos she's too narrowminded for Slytherin evil and she seems to fit into the drawer of life marked Miscellaneous.

ravenclaw... she's really witty if you'll see that. she can't be in slytherine because she's not that evil. It was just probably her dealing of things that makes her appear like a bad woman.

I think you give her too much credit. Intelligent, yes Ravenclaw intelligent, no. Cunning? Not hardly. Conniving, definately. But if she's so smart why waste her talents writing for the Daily Prophet?

No I don't think she should run off to the Quibbler...but seriously, what could she possibly gain? Popularity? Write a book *thinks Lockhart*, or why not join the Ministry? You say she lacks ambition then *if not you should that's what I'd argue* but I argue no...she's a lesser evil...a mischievous evil, but evil nonetheless. I mean she does nothing but malign people for her own gratification, and to sell a few papers...if she truly was that smart she'd find better ways to use it to her advantage.

Slytherin, because she is more evil, than cunning, even if she lacks ambition.
