The proceeds go to support the server, framework, upgrades, and any extra technical service we might require to help keep the site running smoothly. We use any profit left over from that for shipping of contest prizes. In the past Dumbledore and other admins paid for shipment of prizes out of pocket. It costs you nothing extra by clicking on the links and shopping through them, but allows us to provide our members with more services and reduce the financial burden of running the site and various contests we hold throughout the year.
