Long ago, in the distant land of 2007, a graphics challenge was started by iamoscar. It was fun and beloved, but little did they know that this would soon become the longest running graphics challenge hosted on Snitchseeker.

This time, your Gladrags aurors have brought this challenge back with its own twist. The task is simple: your host (a Gladrags mod) will appoint you with a theme and it’s up to you to snatch it up and make the appropriate graphics fitting the theme. When you’re done, simply owl (PM) it back to your host before the time is up.

The twist? The graphic sizes will fluctuate each round between avatar, profile picture, and signature sizes to keep you on your toes!

Before you jump right in, keep these unbreakable vows in mind at all times.

RULES:

• All SS and Gladrags rules apply, no exceptions
• You will have a specific deadline to make your wonderful creations and owl (PM) it to the host. All creations must fit the size requirements specified in the round
• After the deadline, you will have 3 days to vote for your favourite creations
• You cannot vote for your own creations. Trust me, we will know
• You cannot tell other members which creations are yours
• The members behind the top three voted creations will be crowned the winners and will receive a special banner courtesy of the host

ROUND ONE: FAVOURITE ANTIHERO

❝ A central character (protagonist) in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes. Conventional heroic attributes are things like optimism, honesty, strength, confidence, courage, and virtue. Unconventional attributes are things like cynicism, deceit, frailty, insecurity, cowardice, and vice. ❞

For the first round, we’re going to kick things off with graphics involving an antihero! This is someone who doesn’t show the typical attributes of a hero but isn’t evil enough to be a typical villain. Maybe they’re a shy side-character who does immoral things for the greater good? Or maybe they’re a grey character who’s not on a single side?

The point is to get you thinking about character traits and pick out an antihero to make graphics for. But before you jump right in, please make sure to keep these unforgivable vows in mind:

RULES:

• Your entries must fit into the size requirements for an avatar: 100x100 and under 20 kb
• You are allowed up to THREE entries
• They do not have to be for the same character. I don’t mind
• You have 7 days to owl (PM) your entries to me (hermionesclone). So, your entries must be in by 7th October, 11:59pm GMT+1.
• Entries must be kept ANONYMOUS. You cannot tell other snatchers which creations are yours or give clues about them, whether it’s through posts/VM/PM/tweets/etc. Trust me, I will know

For the second round, we're going to kick off with graphics involving a villain, this time. Whether they're a protagonist or an antagonist, this is someone who has evil intentions that are crucial to the plot . Remember that they're different from your typical antihero and should be considered as such.

The point is to get you thinking about character traits and what makes a character evil enough to be considered a villain. But before you jump right in, please make sure to keep these unforgivable vows in mind:

RULES:

• Your entries must fit into the size requirements for a signature: max 450x200 and under 60 kb
• You are allowed up to THREE entries
• They do not have to be for the same character. I don’t mind
