I'm going to choose GWFC's banner at the next two weeks...So, Any one have banners and want us to put it in the competition to post it in the Gaphics thread with a request to put it in the competition...We had made a poll and We will choose ( If no one asked to post banners ) the banner that was highly percentage voted.

To the GWFC members who have a mic,

As you know, Harry Potter and Joanne Rowling's Birthdays are coming up at the end of July. On behalf of Snitchseeker Radio DJs, I'm asking you for sound clips of birthday messages to JKR and Harry that we can play on the radio.

"Hi, this is <your name> of Snitchseeker's < ---- > Fan Club. We'd like to wish Joanne Rowling and Harry Potter a Happy Birthday! We love you, Jo!"

This is the basic sentiment we're looking for from fan clubs, though if you wish to say something more personal and relevant to your fan club, that's okay too.
We can send in our personal wishes as well. If you have musicians in your membership who wish to write original Birthday songs and record them, they will be very welcome!

The only requirement I have is that you do NOT submit clips using The Happy Birthday Song, as we cannot afford a license to use it. Any recordings of that song sent to me will be discarded. Thanks so much.

How to use the mic, ( If you have one )

1. Go to your Start Menu, and select Program Files.

2. Go to Accessories.

3. Windows XP Users then go to Entertainment. (Other users may see the next step before that)

4. Select Sound Recorder.

5. A little window will open that looks like a primitive, little media player. Make sure your mic is plugged in and switched on (if your mic has its own switch).

6. Click the Record button (with the red circle on it) and speak into your mic. It helps if you write out what you want to say, first, and practice reading it.

7. Sound Recorder records 60 seconds at a time. If you run out of time, click record again to add another 60 minutes onto your file and keep going.

8. Practice makes perfect. As soon as you have a file you're pleased with, go to File and Save As. Name it and save.

Before you record or use the mic I want to read the message you will say. I'll pick the best one and will PM him/her to start recording it. ( You can post your message in Ginny Weasley Fan Club ( GWFC )

We put it finally!!!

We made a poll to choose the best banner so we can put it as our offcial banner but unfortunatly some of our members had noticed that there is a mistake in sentence that is in the banner..So, I prefered to choose another banner made by our member britishgrl09 . You can see it on the first page of our main thread " Ginny Weasley Fan club ". You can say your comments on it on the main thread to know your opinions.

The FC mods have decided to merge FC's together. (Actor FC's with Charrie FC's) This means that the BWFC will be merged with the GWFC, seeing as the GWFC is larger.

Expect a lot more Bonnie/Ginny loving, as you will now have the benefit of a huge team of officers to help you have a lot of fun. Please remember however, that no club is better than the other, we're all in this together.

This is going to be a lot of work for officers in both clubs, and please give us time to sort it all out.

I don't know if you know that option or not but many members just don't know how threads disappear or appear suddenly..Guys, When you enter Ginny's Chamber of secrets main page you will find the threads like Ginny Chat and Ginny owns..etc. Scroll this page down until you find " Display options " (this at the end of the page after all the threads links) you will see option

From the : Last month
you can change " Last month " by clicking on the arrow next to the word and you will see options, If you want to see all the threads from the beginning of Ginny's fan club choose the option " Beginning " So the page will be re-loaded and you will see all the threads.. No thread had been deleted it's only inactive..If any one didn't get it please tell me to explain more..( My English is not so good so please forgive me )

Fanclub Fanfic

The month of July is just around the corner and we need a little help to kick off the celebration. It’s time to put on your Thinking Cap and gather your black rimmed Harry Potter glasses for a month of fun and writing. Being part of the Snitchseeker Fan Clubs, the Admins and Mods have come up with a bit of fun with spectacular roles for all Fan Club members to enjoy and take part in.

As you know, Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final novel from the Harry Potter series. What if you, the members, could write the final book the way you see it or the way you would like it to end? Well, the time has come to hear your side of the story as told by your favorite Fan Club character in ‘Fanclub Fanfic’.

What we need from the Fan Clubs right now is for you, as a team, to agree on a topic or storyline for your character. You may participate in more than one Fan Club, it is all up to you, just as long as you have fun. Start a thread within the characters forum or have a discussion in the thread and have everyone post their thoughts and contributions to the story, to see where the novel would start and end.

As a Fanclub, you will be able to create your own version of Deathly Hallows. However, it will not be any ordinary version, you will have to write it from your characters perspective. 2. You can help all of your Fanclubs! and even share ideas throughout all of the Fanclubs. However, we do want to see a variety of stories coming from you all.

3. Not all fanclubs have to participate, it is completely optional but can lead to rewards for your fanclub.

4. It is completely up to the fanclub to arrange and organise their fanfiction. Who writes what etc.

5. Your fanfiction can be of any genre and we would like to keep it as cannon as possible, however we would love a bit of crazy additions to the story.

6. All fanfiction and SS rules apply. Your fanclubs fanfiction will be of SS rating Sa9+

Change to Chat Threads in the Fan Forums

You may be a aware that the chat threads in, not only our fan club, but the others too, are slowing changing their name. They are not going to be "Chat" threads, but "Discussion" threads from now on.
There are other places on Snitch Seeker dedicated to letting you hang loose and chatter with other members and staff on the forum. This as you probably already know is The TP. Therefore we would like no pointless spam in the Discussion threads, but a place to talk about the very character or actor you are supporting.

Details Regarding The New Discussion Threads (Ex-Chat Thread) Rules

As everyone can see, having looked above, the chat thread has been replaced/re-named a Discussion thread. This does put me in a bit of a dilemma, let me explain...
When Imi, who we all miss so much, made me co-president here, she told that GWFC had always been very relaxed and that's why she loved it. That's why you don't have to post facts in the games, and this chat thread was always active. She asked me to make sure it stayed as fun and relaxed as it always was - this I intend to do. Nevertheless, I must abide by SS rules, so I'm going to compromise!
In order to stick to the rules, as I must, please when you post in the discussion thread make sure you say something about Ginny, a statement or comment about her character or anything you like. Just make sure you talk about her, no spamming please. But, maintaining Imi's wishes, feel free to chat at the same time. I know for a fact that the chat threads in Fan Clubs are the best place to get to know people and make friends on this site, so please continue to have a chat with people and have a laugh. As long as we are casual but careful, and keep some sort of discussion about Ginny going, I won't be eaten alive by the fan club mods! (lovely as they are, I don't really want them to eat me)
