hi I have a couple of questions... one is how do you apply to be a co-president or officer of a club? the second question is are there any other lupin fan clubs? cos the only one i see is private and i'm not sure if they'll let me join will they?

For officers positions i recommend you check Fan Club announcement threads if they have forums. And if its in Character or Actor forums check the first few posts of the threads. If they have available positions or looking for new Presidents they'd post it there with how and when to send in your applications =)


Yes we have only one Remus Lupin fan club & because it has a forum you need to join the club to be able to post in it. Anyone can join, all you have to do is follow these simple instructions

also how did you become an Auror? I REALLY want to become one but I don't know where to go!!??? and do you know what dates the sortings are in September please?

Also if you notice, on the very first post of that page, your questions will be answered by the different links of the SS Rules which is something that is supposed to be read by every member.

can there be more than one president of a club? for example, say i started one, could i have more than one?

It is best to have more than one president for the fan clubs that way it is not based solely on that one person for responsiblilty. By having more than one president, it means that everyone can have a life as well, go out of town, go to school or work.

We really don't know when it opens, we open it up randomly. Its been a while since it was opened last. So i'd expect it to come soon, how soon, we don't really know at this point.

In order to join a fanclub, you click on "user cp" then scroll down until you see where it says "Group memberships". Click there, and you will see all the clubs, and may join by filling in the dot at the end, then scrolling down and clicking the "join group" button. Then fill in a reason for joining, and you're done!
You just wait to be approved.

I am curious to know is there an Argus Filch /Mrs Norris Fan Club.

Not at the moment. Maybe someone will request one the next time the request thread is opened. But as of now, there is not a club for Filch or Mrs. Norris.

At this time, I am not sure when we will open it. Just keep an eye out for it and we will make an announcement as well.

can i ask when the fan club request thread will be open and also what is the max amount of clubs you can join or can you join them all if you want

With the request thread, the only thing I can tell you is to keep a watch out for when it will open and we will make an announcement as well.

For the max amount of joining fan clubs, you can join them all and I would love to see everyone do that, but yes, you can join as many as you want. There is no limit.

I has a question. I know that the HEFC has a newsletter. Others probably do; mightn't it be fun to have a place where the FCs can post their newsletters?

That is not a bad idea and the fan clubs with their own forums are more than welcome to create a new thread and post them in there. As far as the others go, they can post them in the threads and then have a direct link to it at the beginning of the fan club. There is not a lot of room for newsletters for all fan clubs here at the moment but I will check into it and see what we can do. It would draw attention to the fan clubs as well....
