The School FC doesn't fall into the same category as the character and actor FCs. Just like the Radio FC is connected with the radio, you'll find anything pertaining to the School FC... in the school. That's all I'll say about that... but happy hunting! Just remember to join first.

You would need to start out as new again! This means pulling together the 20-25 members plus on a list who would be willing to join. Click this link for information on setting up again: Clicky

The sponsor/s will be the ones to validate the join requests! It will normally take about a day or two

To join a club, follow These instructions.
Once the club sponser approves,it will show up under your Group Membership.
It will be listed under "You are a member of the following groups".

Nope, the three broomsticks solely consists of fan clubs and threads can only be started by Mods or specifically club sponsers. "Other threads" are not allowed unless in the forums specified for them (ie. within the club forum itself, if the club already gained a forum).

However, the thread you are suggesting has already been opened by Mad Eye Touz, called Fan Club Request Thread. For the time being, the thread is closed, in other words no new club requests are taken, but keep an eye on it for when it opens, and you can post your claim =)

In the meantime, if your character doesn't have a club yet, you can enjoy them at the ECFC & OCFC.

I'm sort of considering trying to have a Fan Fiction Fan Club (solely HP, of course) for the ff writers and readers of SS (when the FC request thread is open again).

My question is, would this theme be allowed? And if so and if it did get validated, what section would it be under, as it isn't an actor or character? Please tell me your thoughts on a possible club like this as well, like if you think it'd be a success.

I like the idea you have cookie, but the three broomsticks holds fan clubs for actors & HP characters. However, i would suggest to you to contact evlpez the FanFiction admin and see if she would consider having a writers/FF fan club in the Fan Fiction forums, she would be the best person to discuss with.

Hopefully soon! I do know that SBFC will be hosting one soon. The only thing I can say is, Keep your eyes and ears opened. Also, a couple of the FCs have started their own competitions and such for Halloween. SBFC has a couple Halloween adventures going on along with JPFC.

What just happened? I was looking through the Lupin Fan Club for a few minutes. Then, I looked around different parts of SS for a while. I went back to the Lupin Fan Club and there aren't any Threads. What happened?

I just looked at the thread and everything is in it's spot. Now as far as you posting in there, you will not be able too until you have become a member of that FC, but you should still be able to view.

At the three broomsticks we are hosting characters and actors fanclubs. There is a club for the founders of hogwarts, however as having a fanclub for hogwarts alone doesn't adhere, since all the clubs rotate around the life at hogwarts.

This is like FLEUR's question. Could you have a Fan Club for something like Diagon Alley? Or not a charter or person?

I believe within the fan clubs that we are just sticking to characters and actors. I have to agree with that Mad-Eye04 stated before in that it really cannot stand on it's own.

No there's not but usually there will be one maybe two sponsors for a fan club. Now when a member gets permission to start their own fan club, a sponsor will be provided so that all concentrations can go towards the odes and whatever else needed to open a club.

Madam Hooch will fall under the Extra Characters Fan Club, which also takes care of any HP character that does not have their own fanclub. If you have a character that you like and would like to talk about them, I suggest the ECFC. There we can determine whether the character is popular enough and strong enough for their own thread.

As far as being banned or taken out of a club, I have not seen it happen personally, but I'm sure that it can. That is why each fan club has their own set of rules which have to be followed.

Do you have to have officers in place before the FC starts or can it wait until its been opened?

No you don't. Questions will be made up and posted for the members to try out for and in your case, since you want to start an FC and it has been approved, you will be given the decision of whether you want to be President of the club or not, which I'm assuming you might. For the rest of the members, it will be up to you and the sponsor as to who will be in what position according to the way they have answered the questions.

Okay and yes I do want to be president. So, how long might I have to wait until the FC is opened. I just recieved the 10th ode, so do I PM those to you?
