Strategically placed at the entrance of the Quidditch pitch is a cork noticeboard. One can assume, based on the wear and tear of the board, that it has been used for many, many years. However, various items have been tacked onto the board to divert your attention from its tattered appearance. A picture featuring Harry Potter clad in a Gryffindor Quidditch uniform, a child's messy doodle of a fluttering Golden Snitch, and a number of article clippings featuring well-known Quidditch players in action are just a few notable items that stand out.

Pictures, drawings, an clippings aside, announcements will be tacked onto the board throughout the term. If you are interested in knowing when and where an upcoming Flying lesson will be, this noticeboard is to be your primary information source. Furthermore, anything related to Quidditch -- such as tryouts, team practices, and match dates and times -- can be found here as well. It is recommended that you visit this location often so that you do not miss any vital information and are always in the know.

OOC: Above are the results from the first round of matches this term. Congratulations to Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Houses for their recent victories against Slytherin and Ravenclaw respectively! Keep in mind that it is still early in the season, so it still remains unclear who will win the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup.

The scores provided above were randomized. Quaffle scores were determined using a number generator set to pull from numbers 0-20, and the Snitch catch was determined by a coin toss (heads = first team listed, tails = second team listed). The score of the team that captured the Snitch has been bolded for clarity.

Stay on the lookout for the next set of match results. The Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin match will take place mid-February IC, whereas the Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff match will take place early March IC. The results for these matches will be posted approximately late June OOC.
