Default Broomshed

Located one hundred yards away from the Quidditch Pitch stands a small wooden building that houses school-owned, staff-owned, and student-owned brooms. Solely looking at the shed's exterior, one would think that it was on the verge of collapsing and that entering it would involve taking quite a risk. But, of course, there is no need to worry for the broomshed has been quite stable for many years and has never failed to store hundreds of brooms. Don't let the splintered wood and rusted hinges fool you, for several charms casted eons ago are still at work here.

After carefully opening the door, any sliver of doubt that the shed just might come tumbling down will instantly go away. In contrast to the questionable exterior, the interior of the shed is well put together and surprisingly quite spacious. Numerous brooms hang on racks on each of the walls, each containing a square label posted above them -- many have 'SCHOOL BROOM' scrawled on them, though there are a handful that feature the names of students who brought their own broomstick to school with them this term. In the centre of the room is a large wooden table surrounded by benches, which can be used by anyone who needs to polish their broom or clip off any loose or bent twigs.

If you need to borrow a broom or fetch your own, then the shed is definitely a necessary stop. Just remember to return the broom for safe-keeping when you are done flying. If you are here to give your broom some maintenance, then make sure to clean up after yourself before you leave.
