It's going to be a while before all the movies are made, so that's good. But I'm seriously not looking forward to finishing the 7th book. What will I look forward to?! Well, I guess they'll be special editions of the books and stuff. I hope JK writes more books like Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch through the ages.

im not sure im hoping that what happened to star wars with all of the other books and substories about it and we can discuss them. also i dont see any reason that role playing would die down.

when its over we would still flip thru all the books until they fall apart and then go to Borders and get new copies for a lot cheaper than we originally paid. And the channels on TV would play all 7 harry potter movie nonstop (HP movie marithon) and we would still stay up and c it all even thou we'd seen it a million times by then.

Or we will all get our letter of acceptance to Hogwarts when its all over. I like this idea better than my first one.

The story is allways loved and told, so i don't think it will ever be over.

Well we'll have to find something else to look forward to then. I still think Harry Potter will still be big even when all the books are finished and all the movies are made. I think it will still feel weird though knowing that nothing new is coming out.

I hope JKR makes a series of James and Lily before Harry. It would be their years at hogwarts and stuff. Then even a series of Voldermort to show his shame!! That would be a great way to keep the stuff going!! I'll be very upset when the last book comes out!!

I don't want to think about it I'd feel so...so.... ugh! I can't explain it! It's like there's gonna be a big gap in my heart and in that gap was the excitment of waiting for a new Harry Potter book!!!

Scary thought! I don't want SS to be over! But when the books finish we'll have a few films too. And after the films we will be all reunited because of the memories!

I think I'm probably alone in this, but I wouldn't be too happy if JK wrote Hogwarts stuff or Harry Potter-related stuff after the series is over. I dunno, it's hard to explain, but it would just seem... like it was imposing upon Harry Potter, which is a towering work in itself. It'd be like... I don't really know how to explain. It would just seem wrong to me.

But I would be very happy indeed if JK wrote more stuff, but it may be wise for her to use a pseudonym, so she doesn't have to rely solely on her name, but on her writing talents, to sell more books.

Well, hopefully we'll come up with fanfics, rpgs, games, etc to keep it going.

i guess i will just read all the books over and over, so far ,i'v read them all together 57 times,

Life after HP? Ha! Reread them I'm sure it'll leave a lasting impression on the literary world, for many years to come. Heck, people still read Tokien and Lewis, among other authors.
