I think that the trio will always be a trio. Even if they managed to find several close friends during their 6 years, Ron, Harry and Mione will always be the closest to each other.
When Ginny was going out with Harry, I had some kind of feeling that she is going to be a 4th member, but nevertheless I think it won't work. The trio is unique, no matter who will come. |

In my opinion they will end up being like the marauders even though other people came into their lives ie Lilly into James's they were not and have not been considered part of the marauders group. Neville, or maybe Ginny. Neville's already good friends with all of them, but isnt really part of the trio exactly, and if Ron and Hermione get together, well we'll need Ginny so that Harry wont be third wheel  Ginny is like one of them in the summer. | |

I agree with most that they probably never would become a fourthsome but if they did, I think it would be Ginny, or neville. I really doubt they'd let Ginny come along so probably Neville, then again Neville's pretty incompetent (no offense to Neville lovers) so I think they'll pretty much stay the same. | |

I think Ginnny. She's brave, good at DADA and she's pretty!
I'm not such a Neville fan so I don't think he would be so good.
I love Luna but I don't think she's so in to the stuff that the trio are in to. Like what Luna talks about, won't intrest the trio and what the trio talks about wouldn't intrest Luna.
