Nekoda timidly entered the book store. Merlin, she was wayyyyyy out of her element. She didn't read. Nor did she study. So this felt weirdddddd. But she was here on a mission. She HAD to find that book with antidotes in it! For S's happiness she would do it!

Well, that and it wouldn't be bad to see Toad!face in such misery. Tehe.

Hayley walked into the book store, looking for some quidditch books or maybe some adventure books. Then again she loved books so you never know what she would get here. Maybe 10 books or maybe even 40! Who knew?

She wandered into one of the aisles and saw...NEKODA! :O

"Nekoda!" She said walking over to the girl and hugging her. "How was your summer?" She asked wanting to know what the girl had done ever since their shopping spree for shoes that one time.

Turning when she heard her name, Nekoda's mouth dropped open, and she smiled widely. "HAYLEYYYYY!" Yey! Hugging the girl in return, Nekoda gave a small shrug. "Not much, spending time with all the Conrad's." Even the headband!DEMON Xiomara. Meh, not so fun for her. "A few family things." Again, not fun. Especially with her mum and all.

NO! THINK HAPPY!

"But how are youu?" Oooh, maybe Hayley could help her find the book she needed?

"Oh yeah? I saw Savannah earlier." Hayley nodded with a smile. She wondered how it would be to hang out with the Conrads...wouldn't it be dramatic and crazy? Haha. A few family things? What happened? "Oh, well I hope it's better now or it gets better." She said feeling bad for her friend.

"I'm great! I'm super excited for Hogwarts to start. Just being here makes me even more excited then I really am." She said with a smile.

Nekoda smiled, nodding slightly, "I've ran into her a couple of times already." Tehe, she didn't know why they just didn't stay together. But it would be nice to branch out and see some people too. Meh, get better? Maybe. If her dad would cheer up. "I hope so too. My, uh, my mom died a couple of weeks ago. I'm doing okay, but my dad is struggling." Which is why she'd spent most of her time with her Uncle. Her dad was bringing her down.

"Me tooo! I'm so glad your going to Hogwarts as well!" because then she'd have THREE friends at Hogwarts that she could spend time with! Tehe! "This is your first year, too right?"

"Well that's good." Hayley said not really caring that much. They were best friends and it seemed like they would always be together so it wasn't much of a suprise but she wasn't mad about it.

Her mom died? "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, Koda." She said hugging her friend once again. "My cousin, Vanessa she had to bury her mother a few weeks ago as well. It seems like this summer wasn't the best." She said shaking her head. "However you'll get through it and just think she's always looking down on you, happily." She said trying to comfort her friend.

"I know right? Eeeeekk!" Hayley said superrrrrr excited! Hogwarts, yes! "Mhmm, my first year here." She stated.

Nekoda nodded, knowing Hayley wasn't really interested. In fact, K wasn't even sure if Hayley and S liked each other. Perhaps that was a question for Savvy later.

Nekoda hugged her friend again, nodding slightly, "It's okay. I'm honestly doing okay. It's sad, yes, but she wouldn't want us depressed about it." Vanessa? Didn't Nekoda, like, attend a party for her? "Oh, I'm sorry. How's she holding up?" She nodded, smiling at Hayley's way of putting it. "That's a good way to see it."

"YEY!" It was Nekoda's first year too, "Well, we'll just have to search out some hottie to give us a tour won't we?" Tehe!

"Exactly. Think positive." Hayley agreed with Nekoda. Her mother would want her to be happy and not depressed over her. But she could understand how it would be like. "Vanessa is holding up pretty good, well at least I think." She shrugged.

UHHHMM YES!

"You just took the words right out my mouth, girl." She laughed and started to scan the books with her eyes. "So are you searching for a book here?...Well obviously." She shook her head at her own sillyness. Weirdo.

A boy came in dressed in a wine-colored waistcoat, embroidered generously with gold fleur-de-lis and matching buttons. He fancied himself rather dapper - more so than the rest of the rabble in the Alley at least - and held himself in such a manner as to make this most evident. Even as he searched the shelves curiously, his nose still held itself firmly in the air. "Aradia, Aradia... blast. Does no one carry that bloody thing?" He had been in Italy the past year and learned about a strange sort of witchcraft mentioned in only a few muggle books and in even fewer wizard texts. From what he learned so far, this Aradian gospel might be the key to maintaining the Ipswich family's glorious fortune. His return to England was something he had been greatly anticipating; if you could not find a book here, it was never printed. Yet it was becoming increasingly clear that either the subject was not taken seriously or the texts were so rare that he would have to put each book keep under interrogation.

Kita walked into Flourish and Blotts with a huge smile on her face. She was in one of her favourite stores in Diagon Alley! And Nothing anyone else said was going to spoil her mood. At least she hope it wouldn't.

She had made a mental note before not to get too carried away when she was in here but now that she was here, it was hard to resist. She roamed the aisles slowly and smiled as she realised just how many books were in here. She knew that she needed to make her way to the corner where the school books were but she felt the need to take her time. After all, she was in a book store.

Although he was growing rather weary of shopping at this point of the day, Ethan still had yet to purchase his schoolbooks and so decided that Flourish and Blotts would be his next trip. He decided to only be but a few moments - enough to get what was required - so he could be on his way to the apothecary before he went home. Not that he minded books really, it was just that he preferred more hands-on learning, feeling that books were mainly for reference - though he was sure that buying his schoolbooks would be a much more pleasant experience than getting his robes fitted.

As he walked through the aisles, the fifteen year old once again pulled the tattered supply list from his pocket, eyes travelling over the required book selection. The Monster Book of Monsters? Sounded more like a child's book of fairy tales, he scoffed to himself. Mentally noting the next few, Ethan stopped at Curses and Counter-Curses. Really? Seemed a bit basic, he thought as his mum had him read that the year prior. Of course, it was required, but perhaps he could also get something a little more advanced for some extra learning.

Perhaps a written discourse on the trials of curse-breaking? Surprisingly enough, that actually sounded somewhat fascinating to the boy and he set of in search of such a book. He started to run his index finger along a row of books, in search of what he wanted when he suddenly stopped, finger still pointed on one of the books on the shelf in front of him. What was he doing? He had told himself that he would just be a few minutes to get the requirements so he could finish his shopping and go home, and here he was taking his time in finding something extra. And it would probably take him forever at the rate he was going.

Deciding it was in his best interest to find an employee to help him find what he needed in order to make his purchase as quickly as possible, Ethan glanced around him, hazel eyes landing on an elaborately dressed boy not far from him. He stared after him for a moment before deciding that he must work here. Why else would he be dressed the way he was? Must be an employee uniform, he figured, even though the boy looked to be about his age. Perhaps it was a summer job. Besides, he was walking down the aisle with such an air of authority that Ethan saw no reason to think twice about it. Walking over to the boy, he said, "Excuse me, I was wondering if you could help me find a book?" There. Now that he enlisted some help, he should be outta there in no time.

Nekoda smiled, chuckling slightly before giving a small nod. "Exactly, my mum was a positive person. If I were acting depressed and she were still here, she'd basically take away my credit card as punishment." The highest form of punishment to inflict upon Kody actually. "Well, tell her next time you talk to her, I send my condolences." 'Cause she totally knew how it felt.

Nekoda giggled, giving a small wink. "Of course! Is there any other way of doing it?" She wasn't at all surprised Hayley agreed. But because N had Orlando, she could only look. But that was okay. Tehe! Book? OH RIGHT! "Yeah actually...I'm looking for a potions book on simple antidotes." Like a love potion antidote.

Take the credit card away? Hahahaha! Wow! "Hmm, I'm not sure what my mother would do but my dad would probably take all of the blue objects out of my room...and that's like everything." Hayley laughed. All of her things in her room were blue and she hated getting grounded, then again she rarely ever got grounded. The last time she could remember getting grounded was because she pranked Jason, however she didn't understand why he didn't get grounded. Ugh, being older can be bad sometimes. "I will." She smiled at Nekoda.

Hayley giggled. Wait a second she was still with Orlando right? "Well you can't get too far because you're still with Orlando, right?" She asked curiously. She didn't care for Orlando anymore seeming as she got those two together but still it would be nice if they were still friends. Potions book on simple antidotes? "Why is that?" She asked.

Heh? "Blue objects?" Blue must have been Hayley's favorite color. Definitely something Nekoda wanted to store away for future reference. In case like, she wanted to buy Hayley something pretttyyy. Blue was definitely the color to go with. "Awesome." Tehe, Nekoda wasn't sure why she was being so nice, she'd heard stories about Vanessa from S, none good. Huh, Cody must have been rubbing off on her.

Nekoda nodded, beaming slightly, "Yeah, we are. I can only look." Not like she'd want anything more anyways. She loved O. "Butttt, that doesn't mean I can't help find somebody for you!" Tehe, it wassss Hayley who finally got her and Oreo together. She owed the girl a lot for that. "Well, I'm thoroughly convinced this Evil!girl has placed a love potion on Ai-Ai so I need to find the antidote to save him."

Mhm.

Louisa pushed the door open with kind of too much powerful push, she thought it to be heavy for her but being eleven-year-old isn't that young anymore. Wha... there are some people in here already, well, that shouldn't be aproblem it's a public bookstore after all.

Louisa walked in holding a paper in her hand with all the books' names, she wished her father would be with her to guide her through this books shopping. The shelves looked quite high and varied, she felt kind of lost. Not to mention all those bigger students (she assumed) who know magic already. A situation she's not used to be in considering the non-magical life she had before.

She read quietly, "Hogwarts: A History by Chroniculus Punnet." Hmm... I wonder where that would be. Do they have a section for school books or something? Or she can ask for someone's help!

Louisa looked around for someone to ask...

Hayley laughed. "Hopefully when you try to find someone for me it doesn't get dramatic. However I have a feeling it will." She shivered just at the thought. "Well make sure he's my type and he truly likes me and he's loyal and...eh I'm rambling again." She said smacking her head, gently.

"Placed a love potion on Vanessa's bearded cat man? Ummm woah! Alright, well we should hurry up and find that book." Hayley said worried for Aiden. He must be out of his mind at the moment.

Kita, having reached a wall that was lined with even more books, decided to walk round to the other aisle. Backwards. It wasn't something she loved doing but she was trying to read the books that were lined so high up that the poor girl had to crane her neck. Being in this weird position, she forgot that there were other people in the shop as well and ended up stepping on someone's toes.

"ARGH!" she screamed as she jumped and turned around so fast that her hair smacked her face.
"I'm so sorry. Me in a bookstore. Something weird always happens," she said before taking a deep breath to stop herself from blabbing, "I'm Kita by the way."

The moment Louisa turned her face to the other side looking for someone could help her, a searing pain went from her toes (!!) to her brain causing her to yell, "OUCH!" She jumped around to see this skinny girl apologizing to her already.

Knowing how it would be to stumble on others' feet, she smiled awkwardly shaking her foot a little so the pain could go away quickly.

The girl stopped talking abruptly and introduced herself politely, Louisa stood straight and did her part the way she practiced it home, "And I'm Louisa... Louisa Carter." She said confidently and offered her hand (Or wouldn't those wizards and witches shake hands anymore?). "I'm glad that you stepped on my toes actually, I wouldn't have the courage to talk to anyone any other way." She chuckled.

Kita shook hands with Louisa and said, "Louisa, nice name. First year right?" She laughed and realised that the girl wasn't as short as Kita was when she started Hogwarts! It's not like being short bothered her though. It felt nice. "Stepping on someone's toes to talk to them. What a way to start a conversation!" she said.

Savvy needed to find a book to help against love potions, she needed to help save her Ai-Ai from Ella. Sav just hoped he WAS under a love potion like Nekoda said.


......erm ? This was going to be hard to look for, Savannah wasn't much of a book person and never really came into book stores much, not even this one. She normally always had someone do school shopping for her but this wasn't school shopping...THIS WAS URGENT SHOPPING.

So, the girl searched, sprakly pink pygmy puff on her shoulder.

Louisa was happy that shaking hands is still considered ok in magic world. Well, she doesn't know much about this huge world that turned out to be her father's and hers.

"Thank you. I'm flattered. It's mom's choice, she and dad had me in France and they named me after the nurse. A long boring story actually, no need to bore you with it already." She chuckled once again. "I am a first year, yes. Is it that obvious? " She bit her on her lower lip blushing.

"I just wanted help for getting those books." She took the paper out of her jeans' pocket and showed it to Kita hoping that she could understand her awful handwriting... not to mention the spelling mistakes.

Kita smiled and nodded. "Ooh! France! Interesting! Oh don't worry about boring me." she said, "No, it's not obvious. I just took a random guess and i'm glad i'm correct. I mean, imagine if you were in any other year and it turned out that i thought you were in first year. Now that would have been embarrassing."

Kita frowned slightly and looked at the list. Then she smiled and said, "There's one place to get all of these here." Looking up, she looked around her and then tried to see over the aisles of books. Why am i so short? she thought as she got ready to jump to see over the shelves. It was then that she noticed the banner she was looking for. Turning to Louisa, she said, "You see that banner down there? In the far corner? It's says 'school books here'. That's where all the school books are kept. Come, i'll take you. I need to get mine as well."

Amy strolls into the bookstore and down the many aisles of books she starts humming to herself as she searches for her school books

Rhea figured she might as well get her back to school shopping done early so she could use the rest of her free time having fun. She was a seventh year, she could hardly even believe it. Her time at Hogwarts was going by so fast, sniff.

She wandered down the isle looking from her book list to shelves, sigh, it was a tedious process shopping for school book. After a while, she decided to detour and check out other book before finishing up, when she ran into Savannah, sporting...a pygmy puff??
"Hey Sav," She said walking over to the girl. She petted her pygmy.
"Got all your books?"
