Im very confused by Voldemorts age!!! According to the Harry Potter wiki Tom Riddle was born in 1926. Now in the Half Blood Prince Lucius Malfoy is seen to be part of the group at Slughorns Club when Tom Riddle first asks him about Horcrux's, but Lucius wasnt born until 1955, the same sort of time as the other major Death Eaters such as Bellatrix and Antonin Dolohov.

Can someone explain to me where 30 years just went or if it is a mistake and that actually Voldemort wasnt nearly as old as suspected when he eventually died.

Where does it say in The Half-Blood Prince that Lucius was part of the group? The names I remember being mentioned are Avery, Lestrange, and Rosier. My assumption is that these were the parents of those current Death Eaters, since they were the forerunners to the Death Eaters.

I'm re-reading the Half -Blood Prince right now and it doesn't say that Lucius Malfoy was part of the group. I think that Voldemort is older than Harry, and that's all we need to know.

I don't think Lucious wasn't in the Slug Club, was he? When I re-read the books (which will probably be soon) I'll check, but I don't remember Lucious being in it...

Lucius was a Prefect when James, Lily, and Snape started school, so he was a while after Voldemort. In fact, Voldemort was already in power at that point, since Lily accused Snape and his future Death Eater friends of wanting to join up with Voldemort once they left Hogwarts. So he couldn't have been a part of the same Slug Club Voldemort was in (besides for the fact that I also said he was never mentioned being in it in the book).

I also don't think Lucius was part of the Slug Club at all when he was in school. If he was, Draco would have name-dropped his dad to Slughorn when he was trying to kiss up to him. Instead, he mentioned how Slughorn knew his Grandfather well. My guess is that once Riddle left school and became Voldemort, Slughorn wanted nothing to do with anything associated with him. If he knew the Malfoys supported Voldemort, he wouldn't have asked Lucius to be a part of the club, just like he didn't ask Draco. Zabini told Draco that Slughorn wasn't interested in Death Eaters in The Half-Blood Prince.

50 years ago, (Chamber of Secrets), Harry was taken back in time, by the diary. Riddle was a little older than Hagrid. So, Voldy was 65 to 66 in Harrys second year. Made Voldy/Riddle around 70 when Harry finished him off.

Well, if you look on HPwiki there is a picture of young Lucius in the Slug Club..however, I don't believe it was mentioned on screen on in the books. Lucius, being born in '54, was was just a few years older than James, Lily, Snape and etc...

If Tom Riddle, who was born in 1926(?), was around any Malfoys, which I'm sure he was, it would have been Abraxas Malfoy - father of Lucius.
