| UK or US bookcovers?
Which covers do you prefer yourself?
I am from the US but personally prefer the UK ones, the only one i kind of like better in the US is GoF, but even then, i am not the biggest fan of Mary's art style, i just like the idea of it. The UK covers seem more professional to me, have a better art style, look more refined, represent the characters better, feel more appealing and dramatic-like, and they also remind me a bit of the movies aside from the last two. The US ones are alright, but the art style looks a bit odd to me, and, for some reason, Mary put harry in a cape and his normal clothes up until the fourth book, wheras they are in their proper robes in 3 and 4 in the UK editions.
Note, i know there are others from other regions, but i am most familiar with these two and i am sure most people here are from US and UK, so yeah.

I prefer the UK ones. They're the ones I grew up reading and I like how clean they are (not sure if that's the right word), they have the title at the top in a box like thing and then a picture of a scene from the books. Also I think they are a more realistic style (apart from the Philosophers Stone) and I like that better.
I also think the adult UK versions are so so pretty.

Well I do prefer the UK ones mostly because I feel that it is the dialect that Rowling originally wrote in. Book 4 of mine is the only US version because I was in the states when it came out and it is much bigger in size than the UK versions.
But here in Israel, the translation used the US covers so it is more known here I guess

I actually prefer the UK adult covers. They're so pretty ^^ I've grown up with the british books with the UK covers and the norwegian books with the US covers, so I don't have any preferences, really. They're both equally charming to me |

I grew up with the U.S. covers so that is what I prefer. I actually quite like Mary's art style.

I think they're both nice, it's hard for me to pick which one's are my favorites. The US ones look more realistic to me, plus they're the ones I've read. But I really like the UK covers as well...

I live in Serbia, and our's are like the US ones. I have Deathly Hallows with the UK cover, and I think they're better.
