It definitely seemed a bit rushed to me, but I was mostly alarmed by how they died. Remus is being difficult, then they're married, then they're pregnant, then BAM! Dead! I feel like they deserved at least a little more pomp and circumstance instead of just wandering into the Great Hall and casually noting that they're dead.

They are so sweet! I was sad about their death, but J.K.Rowling wanted to make situation where Harry will take care about Teddy, like Sirius would take care of him, if he hasn't dead.

I liked both Tonks and Remus but they were never my favorites so I didn't take much interest in what happened in their lives but when I first read that part about them being dead. I had to read it several times more to grasp what was actually going on. And then I felt really bad. I mean, Remus was the last marauder and Tonks and he had just become an item and then there was Teddy. It made me feel real bad but at the same time I tought it was quite realistic this way. It was a little rushed up, yes, but kinda fitting too.

It did seem rather sudden, and rushed, but it was the times. Who knows whats gonna happen, so lets see how far we can take this in the time we have. It was rushed but predictably so.

I think in terms of what was physically written down on the page, it may of been a little rushed, but it was always developing in the background and I think it was developing in our heads as well, which might of made it feel less rushed. I think what was rushed was their death, I think it came to quote a shock to all of us. I think they deserved a more elaborate death scene, and the fact the it was just sort of announced just like that made it come to more as a shock. They deserved more in their memory, as both had done so much for Harry.
Although, in JK's defence, there was so much going on in the books that their relationship might not of been taken as worthy enough to discuss in great detail.

They are my favorite ship and while it seemed rushed, I think that more important stuff was going on so it was not as important. I think they go well together. I just wished they had got to live. I cried when they died. They are to of my favorite characters.

Teddy is the character that brought the story full circle. harrys parents died in war, he grew up without them and so on. so lupin and tonks had to die so the story could start and end with an orphan of war.

It did seem rushed, but I think there was a point in that. Reumus and Nymphadora were in an odd situation in the last book when all of this happened. During the second wizarding war, there was no certainty that anybody was going to live until tomorrow. Especially if you were like Reumus and Nymphadora and were basically outspoken enemies of Lord Voldemort. I imagine that probably prompted them to get married and have a kid pretty fast, knowing that there was a chance that this was their last year and that they might not have come out of this battle alive. Knowing that the entire fate of the wizarding world ultimately rested on the seventeen-year-old boy that would have to face Lord Voldemort himself.

It probably felt rushed because the vast majority of the story did not have them in it. We would just occasionally get updates about their marriage, baby, etc. when they were at the Burrow or when Remus dropped in. Viewing it like that can make it seem rather sudden.

I wasn't too pleased about their demise. Though, I suppose it was fitting as an example of the cold realities of war. They just got a passing line after the first wave of battle stating Harry saw them among the dead.

I always got the impression that they were in a hurry to start a family the same way the Mr. and Mrs. Weasley said they were during the first wizarding war. I think they were trying to get married and have a kid before it was to late and one of them died or became unable to do so. I doubt they knew that they were both going to die otherwise they likely wouldn't have had Teddy because they wouldn't have wanted for him to grow up without parents. Honestly the whole thing broke my heart, they were some of my favorite charecters and I hated to see them go.
Humans are one of the strangest things imaginable.
