JK sort of bothers me though... great writer, just she herself bugs me sometimes. LIKE HER HAVING TO KILL - oh, wait. can't say that. sorry. ;x aaaargh. nevermind. you know what i mean. ;x and then sayin' he won't come baccccck!!!
and then her whole, "how do YOU know whether harry will live or not?"
she leads us on too much and it drives me crazy!

No, shes not my favourite author, although she is among my top five. My favourite author is a guy called Orsen Scott Card, who wrote Ender's Game.

I love J.K.-an excellent author, but of course, I have many other faves-including J.R.R. Tolkein and Dave Pelzer. I want Dave Pelzer's 'Help Yourself.'
Sylvia Nasar, and her A Beautiful is also wonderful. J.K.R. of course, is one of my faves, otherwise, in my view, I would not be on this forum. Harry Potter is something special alright.

She's definitely one of my favorite authors, but I'd like to see something other than Harry Potter from her. Don't get me wrong, the Harry Potter books are great (I wouldn't be here if I didn't think so), but I'd just like to see something else before I say she's my absolute favorite.

I totally love J.K. Rowling! She's my girl! But I also really like Phillp Pullman, K. A. Applegate (my friend got me into Everworld), Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, oh, and, what's-her-face, the woman who wrote the Georgia Nicolson books! Ummmmmmmm, oh well, but she's great too!
