Beneath The Walls

Have you ever wondered,
What lies beneath the walls?
Screaming, lusting, dreaming
And waits until you fall?
What scares you most and lives in hiding.
What only shows, to do its bidding.
It scares your insides,
makes you scream,
But turns your nightmares into dreams.
What I'm describing you want to know,
And Ridikkulus will help you so.
It'll make you laugh and chase it away,
and won't be back 'till another day.
The boggart's defeated,
and you have won.
Put it away,
and you'll be done.

okay that was my first poem! it was a bit abstract but I hope you liked it. Hopefully they'll get better as I go. Feel free to comment.

Why no one likes a Gryffindor

You see them screaming everyday,
the ones that like to block your way,
they're too outgoing
for their own good,
they poke us underneath our hood.
We Slytherins,
you see,
highly disagree.
We keep to ourselves,
or those we know well
but aren't as brave as thee.
Of course we'll take a bet,
but not to risk our neck
because we chose brains over brawn,
we already know what's wrong.
Gryffindors, to us,
are showoffs and such
so nobody likes a Gryffindor,
if you're one of us.

The Kitchens

Back, long ago,
there were two boys.
Fred and George were their names.
And they had a secret,
you know,
about somewhere they tended to go.

When Gryffindor won a match,
or after supper, they needed a snack,
above the dungeons, but below the great hall
they went.
Along a brightly lit corridor they traveled
until, upon a painting they came,
of a fruitbasket no body watched.
Ah, but the twins were clever yet vain.

They checked for any lingering Hufflepuffs,
or perhaps, a teacher that came by
Once they saw it was clear
they tickled the pear,
In the painting I told you about prior.

Now, let's stop for a moment,
you must think it quite queer,
to tickle a pear in a painting.
But that pear, do you see?
Was the key, you see,
To getting into the kitchens,
where house elves, they cooked
and didn't mind work,
were happy to do the twins' bidding.

Up hidden passages they came,
back from their ways,
with armfulls of food
and treats.

And this, I'm afraid,
is the end of our tale,
of these two marvelous boys.
But fear not!
It's still there,
I mean, the pear,
you just have to find, the painting.

Felix Felecis

Have you ever really wondered,
what a potion's like?
How it tastes? How it smells?
How it looks? Won't you tell
me what you'd do,
if you had a potion
that made your dreams come true?
Okay, mabey not that
I suppose made you lucky
would be a better term,
so this poem isn't mucky.
But say, for a moment
your dreams did come true.
I'd think that lucky,
wouldn't you?
This potion has a name,
Felix Felicis, so I've heard.
Bright gold in color,
perhaps some more words?
I've heard it makes you giddy,
but its affects, really depend
the person that you're talking about
might have met their end.
To much, a very bad thing,
2 tablespoons, all you need
for one very lucky day
so don't become anxious with greed.

Snape's Memories

Lily Evans, don't you see?
You're the one that meant the world to me.

Your soft red hair, you're bright green eyes,
you're the one that made me cry.

But you never really saw my heart,
even though you made it start.

I taught you about magic, and what you were,
but you didn't believe me, at least not at first.

And then there we were, two friends together;
you were my sunshine in dark, cloudy weather.

But you ran off with him, you left me alone,
my heart dropped to my stomach as though it were stone.

As years went by, you said farewell
but I went on loving you, even still.

And then came the night, you left me forever,
you past through the veil, you and him together.

But Lily, I say, I love you even still;
I just need to know why you don't love me as well.

Snitch

Little snitch,
in my hand,
how you glint
oh so grand.

I am the seeker,
you are the ball,
never will I let you fall.

Never having,
touched the skin
of a person
we still win.

One hundred fifty points
thus you give,
this little ball
for which I live.

Without it,
the game is never over
and our poor seekers
would be sober.

So important,
yet so small,
We caught the snitch!
we've won it all.

Harry

I remember
the day I first
saw you.

Your jet black
hair and
bright green eyes,
I wanted you
for my Valentine.

I was only one year
younger but
your best friend,
my brother,
told me I never had a chance.

My very first year,
you saved my life
and that's when I knew
you were a hero.

Eventually,
as the years past,
I knew I had to
give up.

But my fourth
year came,
You saved my dad,
and once again
my heart began to beat.

My fifth year came
and I started to know
that you could feel it too.
The beating inside me,
ever so constant,
now was shared with you.

And then you told me,
it'd never last
and I knew it was true.
You had a duty, to fulfill
but still, my heart,
belonged to you.

Your seventeenth birthday,
I had no gift
except my love to give.

That year,
with you gone,
I felt so very empty.
Luna and Neville,
were my very best friends,
and so we fought, to the end.

But when we heard
that he was back,
something inside me screamed.
I knew you were gone
and I was brought to tears
by the very means.

In Hagrid's arms,
I saw you dead,
and I couldn't believe
it was true.
You couldn't be gone,
or I'd gave gone with you.

And there you were,
alive and well
my ever lasting love
we fought till the end
and Voldemort's death
when you were mine,
once again.

The years have past
and I love you still,
and I know that you love me.
So I'll ask again, Harry,
won't you be my Valentine?

Bludgers

Those nasty little things,
that get in your way.
Knock you off your broom
and ruin your day.
Hit at you by beaters,
carrying their bats
trying to help their team win,
if only it was simple as that.
Give you a broken arm,
toss you left and right,
those nasty little balls
are worse than a bite.
Sure their part of quidditch,
and make the game more fun
but couldn't we do without them?
That way we would've won.
