Default My Poetry!
Shadows in My Mind

In my mind I am never alone
I am never at peace
I am always left in deep shadow
Abondoned, lonely, deceased.

Darkness swirls around my eyes
Blocking out all the light
I can not hear, I can not think
I am trapped within the night

Someone help me, someone come
Are my cries falling on deaf ears?
Can you see? I am here!
But I am invisible among all my peers.

You can not save me, can you?
We can not turn back time
All I know is that there is no escape
Within the shadows of my mind.

This is really, really, really good. It's like, whoa. It even rhymes! I have trouble even doing that with my stupid poems. It's awesome.
