I've always had a hand for writing poems, and whaddya know, now I'm typing them! I've been poem-writing since I learned to read, and my 'rents have been really supportive. Tell me what you think. Critisize me if needed.
Music of My Soul
The music of my soul,
Its every breath you take.
Its what keeps my spirit alive and well,
Its what keeps my soul awake.
The music of my life,
Are the songs that you sing.
My heart dances around the sounds,
I feel like and angel, flying without wings.
The music of my soul,
Its every move you make.
I thank God, He helped me choose you,
And I know I made no mistake.
You are my music,
My loved one, my mate.
Stay beside me forever,
Before the music dies, and its too late.

Whoop! After many days of antagonizing school work, I finally find the time to write my poem. Here it is and I hope you guys like it just as you did my first poem.
Songs I Sing
These songs I sing,
I sing dearly for you.
From my heart and from my soul,
With words so sweet and true.
I sing songs of joy,
When you come my way
My heart, it praises every note
With the hope that you'll be here to stay
These songs I sing,
The inspiration you bring.
When they collide in my heart and mind
Its true love for you and me, we'll find
And so in these lines of my poem,
In these words I write for you.
I hope, my darling, you realize now
How much I really do love you.
[This poem was inspired by my crush...]

Thanks for the comments, they mean a lot to me. I just wish there'd be more reviews in my poems so I'd be more willing to write longer, better poems. But then again, I don't really have the time in my hands...  . Well, here's poem # 3, enjoy! Slowly
Slowly, I'm missin' you,
Your soft and sweet caress.
I long for the moments when I hugged you tight,
And longed for the scent of your dress.
You sang me to sleep when I was lonely,
When no one else in the world around me would.
You played my tunes, you played my songs,
You played with me all night long.
Slowly, I'm crying,
Because you left me standing here.
Slowly, I'm dying,
Coz you left me with sorrow and fear.
The sun, I thought, would never,
Ever shine with me again.
But then someone else gave me a ray of hope,
Sadly, it wasn't you, but somebody else.
Slowly, I'm smiling,
And even laughing, too.
For now I realize I can be happy with no 'you',
I can live, after all, with someone new.
So even if we're not together,
We can still be 'close friends', I'm sure.
You're with your someone, and I'm with mine,
Our sorrows, as I thought, we could easily endure.

More schoolwork, just what I need  . I'm thankful I have the time on my hands to write my poems. Loving you, Loving me
In the past, I've always wondered,
How it would've felt to love someone.
What the feeling of 'kissing' would be like
How it would hurt, if all was said and done
In my mere childhood days,
I would day dream and smile at the air
Wishing, wondering, and hoping
That my special someone is just out there
As I grew up to 'now'
Where I played my music for you
I felt that you were there
Playing your tune for me, too
Loving you, loving me
I'm sure we were meant to be
Living up love and loving life
I'm sure we can get through our daily strife
You're here right by my side
There is nothing more to fear
My thoughts from then and now are gone

Here's another one I just happened to write while taking my recess last friday. It was inspired by my crush who just doesn't seem to notice me, but eventually did. Mr. Mystery

Here's a penny for your thought
What, then, are you thinking of?
Its kinda hard for me to spot

Don't you hear my call?
Maybe I'm too far from you,
Or maybe you don't care at all

How I long to find you out.
What keeps you there inside your shell,
And whats that mystery about?

Well, here's my next poem. Actually, its a sonnet. Sad one... My Lonely Sonnet
Can't you hear me calling you?
I'm still waiting here with a tear-stained face.
I've been longing to hear your sweet voice,
Coz I never really could live a day without you.
I remembered all those wonderful days,
Where your mellifluos love drowned me,
And the serenity I felt whenever you're around,
Overwhelmed me so.
My overflowing fervor for you presence,
Was, I think, the biggest mistake I've made.
In the past, I wanted you here too much,
Now I'm lonely, and you're not here. I've got nothing more to lose.
Here I am now, wishing on every visible star,
That if you're not the one, at least let mr. right accompany me in my loneliness. Again, feedback and comments are great!

Ate Lai, naku, you don't know the half of it! While I was writing that, I locked myself in my room crying over my ex. The idiot went out with another girl, but I've gotten over him, like in my poem "Slowly".

Just another poem I composed during my free time at about 9:45 am today (Oct. 10, '05) and it took me only two minutes to do it....Well, here it is.
I'm Here
No, I'm not here to mock you,
Nor rob you of your glee,
I'm simply here to say one thing,
So I'll act naturally.
I won't waste your time,
I'll be here just for a minute or so,
Coz I'm here to tell you one thing,
And I hope you'll listen though.
Lend me your ears,
Listen to these words I'll lay,
Coz once I get these out of my mouth,
These words, I'll never say again.
Are you ready, dear?
Its not a speech i'm to say
Its just that...well, I love you.
And I'm hoping you feel the same way.
Tell me if you like it or what...I appreciate it.

Lying under the starlit night

In the ivory white keys of the piano
From soft, medium, to loud
Romance, horror, action
Their music it can play
Oh what a wonderful instrument
That's sure all I can say

I could talk about it forever
For the piano is my dearest friend
Will I replace it? Never!

I'm sure Ate Lai's poems are better since she's more experienced, and longer as Tina says. It seems that a lot of you lie "I'm Here". yeah, its one of my faves too.
Anyway, I've yet to come up with a new idea for a new poem, but I'm sure I can cook up something soon.
