Now this you need a little info so you don't think I am really morbid or anything. I dated a guy for almost 3 years, and we were best friends before we dated. He battled cancer for over 4 years, and it took his life in 2001. I wrote this after he died...
The tears I cry
Are not for show
The Pain I feel
You will never know
Trying to hold up
Trying to be strong
Knowing I wont
Last for very long
My heart aches
An a pain I've never known
Why did you have to
Leave me all alone
Your face I'll remember
Your touch and your kiss
The sound of your voice
I so terribly miss
I'd give my life
For one second with you
Without you here

I'm so sorry about your loss. I know it was awhile ago, and you probably hate it when people bring it up, but my deepest sympathy. It's a great poem, I'll be looking foward to more.
What do you see in me,
