Default Emily's Poetry - Sa13+
Yo! So I love poetry! I'm an aspiring poet, but I've never written a HP related poem and I decided to give it a go. Let me know what you think! Criticism is welcomed. (: Just ask and I'll post my other works. You name a non-literary topic, I've probably got something.

The rain falls
Splatter! Splatter!
The owls sing
Hoot! Hoot!
The door sways
Creak! Creak!
The window opens
Slam!
Awoken from his dream
Such a beautiful sleep
Back to reality
He begins to weep
A tear for the lost:
The parents he couldn’t know
A tear for the cost:
The lives of the stag and the doe
He cries and cries and cries
By the time he shuts his eyes
The rain has softened
Drip! Drip!
The owls have flown
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The door has steadied

And the window has closed
