I Want World Peace for Christmas
The Goblet of Fire videogame
Is one thing on my list,
But, no, it is not, as a matter of fact,
My biggest Christmas wish.
My mum knows Karen, who has cancer
Karen is a good friend,
I want her to survive the cancer and
Never have it again.
There's a girl on SS who writes fanfic
Her name is Shannon
She's depressed because her boyfriend died
And I know that she's cried and cried...
And those things are important to me,
But yet again I tell you,
These aren't my biggest Christmas wishes
I hope the biggest one comes true:
I want world peace for Christmas,
It might not come so soon,
But, hey, there's still a chance
For my biggest wish to come true.
I know I might not get it,
But I still really want this:
I want world peace for Christmas
And I hope I get my wish.
I want a Daniel Radcliffe poster
To hang on my bedroom wall,
I'd be happy but it still isn't
My biggest wish of all.
That would be world peace for Christmas
It's all I really need
There's a difference between "need" and "want"
Because wants aren't always needs.
So...
I need world peace for Christmas,
The most important thing I've known
Is that peace is what we all should have
So that proves I'm not alone.
There's always someone needy
That needs some Christmas cheer.
So, stop thinking you're unlucky!
Open up your eyes and ears!....
Help and pray for the needy
And you'll help to bring world peace,
So that no more wars will happen,
And depression starts to cease.
Do all you can while living,
Because you don't get second birth....
Oh, all I need this Christmas, God...
Is peace on Earth.
What do you think about my poem? Who else here wants world peace?
