I love this story. Very evil Draco and Amy. I love Harry and Ginny's interaction. Both Ron and Hermione seem a bit gullible to the advances of Draco and Amy. Lets hope it dosen't go too far.

Chapter Seventy – Six

Harry sat down on the bed considering everything; he flopped down on the pillows trying to think who could have done it. His eyes closed, the darkness surrounded him and he fell into sleep without realising or intending.

She knocked but got no reply, she knew he was in there Neville had told her so. She peaked round the door and saw him, legs hanging over the bed as he lay lopsidedly across the quilt. His head was to one side the face he made void of expression as she crept over to him. She knelt down and ran a hand through his hair smiling. He looked so peaceful when he slept, he didn’t know she stared at him just as much as he did at her. She did it just to make sure he was still there every time they woke up together, to reassure herself he wasn’t gone and he wasn’t going and just to see how different he was from that eleven year old she met all those years ago.

She leaned in and kissed his cheek with a smile, her hand still running through his hair gently as he woke up, blinking and smiling.

“Hey you” he grinned sitting up,
“Hey” she got up and sat next to him, “You’ve got two minutes to wake up properly then we have to go”
“Go – Where?”
“Lunch, we’re meeting them in the head’s dorm”
“Oh yeah” he rubbed his eyes “I forgot about that”
“So it seems because you came straight up here – I don’t know if I want to cook with her and Hermione anymore though”
He asked, “Why not?”
“I don’t know, just something about being stuck in a kitchen with them doesn’t seem appealing”
He grinned “Well you going to have to get used to it, I mean as soon as you move into my place I’m getting rid of Kreacher so you’re going to have to look after me”
“Don’t you ever even consider that happening at all” she replied folding her arms at her chest with a verging on angry expression on her face,
“Never gonna happen Gin. I do, however, have a sneaking suspicion that Hermione’s going to make me try and pay Kreacher at some point though”
“Does she want us too insult him so much that he poisons our food, and stops cleaning again”
“Apparently” He smiled and got up. He ran a hand through his messy hair not making it any better or worse, stretched his stiff arms above his head and then grinned “I’m awake, lets go”

“Amy’s started without us” laughed Hermione opening the door to the dorms and letting them inside “She’s too enthusiastic for me” she grinned grabbing Ginny’s arm, pulling her away from Harry and into the Kitchen.

Harry went in and joined Draco and Ron at the table and chair’s Hermione had transfigured the two couches into.
“This is interesting” smiled Harry sitting down,
“Bit weird if you ask me, she won’t let us in there though – she’s turned into the queen of the kitchen” Said Ron,
“When Amy find’s something she likes doing she gets a bit obsessive” Grinned Draco,
“What have we gotten ourselves into?” laughed Harry just before squeals came from the kitchen followed by giggling and laughter,
“On second thoughts I don’t want to know” He added.
They carried on talking for about a half hour with more giggling and laughing from the kitchen until there was a bang and Ginny emerged with flour down her front “Lunch is ready” she grinned before going back inside.

The three guys looked at each other laughed and shook there heads. Amy came out first holding a large chocolate cake, followed by Hermione with bowls of mash potato and peas, then Ginny with sausages, gravy and carrots.

“Wow” Ron grinned as they set the plates down “Looks as good as the house elves”
They all laughed but Hermione looked to him coldly “Well neither of us is getting paid”
“Don’t start up about S.PE.W again please” Ron groaned
“Spew what’s that?” asked Draco looking up as he helped himself to sausages,
“Society for the Promotion of Elfish welfare” she replied proudly, and Ron just sighed.
“Hmm interesting – but you do know non of them actually want paying, they just want to serve their family and then die” Said Draco,
“Of course I know that, but it’s the principle, they deserve something for their service”
“You can’t force it on them though ‘mione” sighed Ron again “If they don’t want anything then don’t give them anything”
“You’re only concerned that if they go on strike, you stop getting fed” she said folding her arms against her chest,
“Too right I am” he replied angrily getting fed up with arguing with her. The two other couples looked at each other in bewilderment, but Amy spoke up
“Let’s just eat ok”
“Sure Amy” Ron replied reaching for the carrots in her hand as she passed them across the table.

“Who made the mash?” said Ron looking up after a while,
“What is it not up to elfish standards?” said Amy with a smirk
“No – here why don’t you try some” he picked up some and threw it at her across the table. It hit her fore head and she looked at him furiously before grinning and grabbing a hand full of peas, pelting him with them, Hermione started to laugh so Ron diverted his attention, aiming some well placed carrots at her, she replied with more mash hitting Ginny as well who was laughing and throwing food at Harry and Draco. The only thing that remained untouched was the cake as food flew around. After a while when they where now just looking at the state of each other and laughing, they calmed down enough and looked around.

“Messy eaters aren’t we” Grinned Amy dragging mash out of her hair with her fingers,
“Very” smirked Ron watching a piece of carrot slide down her neck to her chest,
“Lets clean up and have some cake, we’ve all got frees next, I made sure” Said Hermione standing up and levitating the bowls and plates out to the kitchen Draco standing up to help her, following her inside.

“You know Hermione… if you ever want a hand with SPEW -” She didn’t let him finish and hugged him tightly and he squeezed her back. The food squelching in between them,
“Sorry” she said pulling away abruptly and turning to finish putting things in the sink and mumbling something while waving her wand so they started to clean themselves, “I just don’t get support from Ron about it at all”
“It’s ok” he mumbled nervously “I guess it sounds like a good idea to me”
So it didn’t but it was a way in – “And like I said, you ever need help let me know” he turned away scratching the back of his head and wandering back into the living room, seeing Ron and Amy laughing as they carried on fighting with the mash potato, him dumping a handful in her hair and her smearing it on his face, where as Harry and Ginny were busy kissing each other, more then trying to clean themselves up.

“Cake time” he grinned drawing his wand and cutting it into pieces and levitating the plates to them round the room,
“Where did you learn that?” said Hermione coming out of the kitchen and transfiguring the seats and table back into the couches and coffee table, the half a cake sitting on it.
“Mum – she used to have her friends round and serve tea and cake”
“Like a muggle?” said Hermione questionably
“Yeh – it was only when dad wasn’t home to complain, that she could have her muggleborn friends round”
“Your mum had muggleborn friends” Said Ginny incredulously,
“She’s not as bad as everyone thinks” he grinned “Quite nice and harmless really, Bella was the psycho of the family”
“We gathered that” smiled Amy chewing on her slice of cake,
“Hmm what’s next on the agenda?” sighed Ginny settling against Harry’s side as they sat on the couch, and she tried to come up with a change of subject that didn’t involve Bellatrix Lestrange.

“If I have more cake I’ll throw up on Harry and I don’t think he’d like that” she grinned as he looked down at her moving his arms to hold her away from him with a smile,
“Hey, I’m not contagious”
“No just ready to projectile vomit on me” he smirked pulling her into him again when she frowned at him,
“How about a butterbeer and some laughs, we can study tonight” said Hermione and everyone stared at her,
“Putting off revision, are you ok Hermione?” Draco chuckled, as the others started to laugh,
“I’m serious!” she smiled widely “Just thought it would do us some good that’s all, we are allowed to have a break once in a while and its mid week we’re all up to date”
“But usually it requires seven days of non stop studying in your case” replied Harry jokingly,
“Well today I thought I would change my mind” she stood up and wandered off into the kitchen returning moments later levitating the six bottles in front of her,
“Now whose going to supply the laughs” She grinned opening her bottle with a smile her eyes moving round the room to look at Ron before lingering on Draco, who smirked back in reply.

Whoa what happened and you had to stopped it at diffe...??!?!?!?!?!? lol... It has happened to me that's why I'm asking...it seems that it's gonna be a great post if it's gonna be about Harry and Ginny and about their relationship, since well you know how much we loooooooooveeeeeee it when you write about them...he,he..... PAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, it was great!!! But I have the idea that Hermione is falling for Draco and I don't like that, 'cause she's in for a huge awakening if she does....
Anyway...loved the food fight...me and my friends do it all the time, some of the cafes in our town think it twice before letting us in...lol....Did I told you that I love the way you write about Harry and Ginny? I guess I did so...Pams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter Seventy – Seven

A few days later on the Friday night, Ron and Harry wandered into the changing room, soaked through after staying late to keep practicing in darkness and torrential rain, Harry spoke up cautiously.

“How are things going sharing with Draco and Amy?”
“Ok” he shrugged indifferently “Didn’t think it would work at all but there not that hard to get along with, did you know Amy’s a Cannon’s fan?”
“No idea” he smirked to himself and continued “So you’re going to tell McGonagall it will last till the end of year?”
“Suppose we might as well – nothings gone wrong in a while, maybe we’re all cured”
“Cured of what – Psychopathic Dark wizards” said a grinning Harry pulling off his wet robe and drying it with his wand.
“Yeh – unless you go over to the dark side”
“I don’t think I’d be welcomed with open arms do you” he grinned,
“Speaking of fighting evil when do you think Hermione will get her ministry letter?”
“I thought she got it, the Patel twin in Ravenclaw got hers to be a Healer and a Tori got one for Hufflepuff and Neville for some job working with Herbology overseas - they did me separately” he looked at him carefully why hadn’t Hermione told Ron.
“No Hermione never mentioned it” he said angrily sitting down , he hadn’t bothered to take his robe of and attempt getting dry and changed and was forming a large puddle on the floor, whereas Harry was drying off nicely, towel round his shoulders and jeans on.
“You and Hermione are ok right?” questioned Harry,
“After that surprise I’m not sure anymore – why didn’t she tell me?”
“Maybe she didn’t want you to be disappointed because you didn’t get one…” said Harry trailing off nervously,
“I’d be proud of her” he sighed looking forlorn,
“She was thinking of your feelings, you’d have been grumpy and miserable for a week had she told you and you know it mate”
“Ginny would tell you and I bet anything Amy doesn’t keep things from Draco”
Harry kept quiet,
“You knew which means Ginny knows as well as Luna even Maria, Draco and Amy would know and here I am her boyfriend and left in the dark”
“Don’t be so over dramatic-”
“- Over dramatic” said Ron, shouting starting to be more angry then upset “Ifs she’s keeping that from me what else is she not telling me, that she’s sleeping with Draco!”
“Ron, stop it ok, Hermione would never cheat on you let alone with Malfoy, she not stupid, she probably wanted to tell you at the right time, like without Amy hanging around”
“What so now you’re accusing me of cheating!”
“Not so different from you carrying on about the non existent me and Hermione now is it” said Harry shouting back “She wouldn’t cheat on you, she’s stupid enough to love you, you idiot, maybe she just wanted to tell you she got a job that wasn’t given to her on a plate by the ministry rather then have you upset that you didn’t get one”
“Its all ways the same with you two – top of the year where as what am I left with - below average student”
“Ron if you were below average you wouldn’t have beat McGonagall in a life-sized game of wizard’s chess at eleven, you wouldn’t care so much for you little sister that it hurts her and you wouldn’t have helped me defeat death eater’s and Voldemort so many times” Said Harry standing up and pulling on his robe over his t-shirt and left leaving Ron to his thoughts.

“So Hermione” he said as they left the professors office, “You never told me”
“Never told you what?”
“The letter Hermione, you never told me about the letter”
Her eyes went to the ground as they walked, she’d noticed his coldness, the distance but hadn’t asked because she thought it would be about Harry and Ginny, he was always in a bad mood about something at least once a week,

“I never told you about the letter to protect you”
“I don’t want protecting from good news” he said stopping in his tracks “I would have wanted to celebrate your success with you”
“But the thing is you wouldn’t have and we both know it, you think you’re a second rate wizard and me getting this – this traineeship would have made things worse”
“You thought I’d be jealous of you so you didn’t tell me and still screwed things up” he said coldly,
“Yes but it was for your own good and mine and everyone else’s sanity, to hear you complaining about not getting one for and feeling sorry for yourself, whereas if you’d only applied yourself -”
“So your not saying I think I’m a second rate wizard, your saying you think it!”
“That’s not what I said” tears had started to well up in her eyes but she was angrier with herself then anything else right now.
“You did! You don’t think I don’t try my hardest, second rate is the best I can do but that’s obviously not good enough for you!”
“I didn’t say that – I love you, I – I was just -”
“You were just what, trying to save me from disappointment, well you failed, I’m disappointed” he shouted “I’m disappointed in you Hermione, for only loving me but not having the faith enough to believe in me” he finished and stormed off past her leaving her in tears to curl up on the floor against the wall.

Draco was floundering, his thoughts were all over the place and his focus was lost. He was becoming more and more attached to what he knew he could never have. She belonged to someone else, no matter she looked at him, no matter they flirted with each other, because she was his.

He sighed and pushed Amy off him, he couldn’t concentrate on kissing her when he wanted someone else.

“Draco what’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I’m just tired I’m going to bed”
“Let me come with you”
“No, not tonight, I want to be alone”
“Fine, maybe I’ll just go and see how Ron is; I bet you’d like that” She got up and made as if to leave the quarters.
“Do what you want, the plan is off” He stated honestly, standing up as well.
“What! You can’t change your mind now! You haven’t even gotten anywhere with Hermione” she hissed viciously “I came to this place for you, I’ve become one of them for you and this is how you repay me, turning your back at the first hurdle… if she won’t speak I’ll get Ron to tell me how Potter beat him and then I’ll do it myself, without a loser Malfoy dragging me down”
“Don’t you dare!” he shouted “You leave them alone, if you don’t want to be here then go, I don’t care about you or anyone else anymore”
“So that’s it – you want that filthy little mudblood now and not me, to think I expected you to be loyal to our cause when you had that on your mind”
“Don’t talk about her like that, she means more to me then you ever will”
“Well you can have her, but I doubt she’ll want you when I expose your little plan for what it really was”
“You wouldn’t dare, don’t forget Amy you have secrets too”
She went silent and stared him down,
“You say one word about anything we talked about and you will be history, you understand Amy” he spoke quietly and threateningly drawing his wand and pointing it at her throat. “One word and you’ll be with your dear sister”
“I- I won’t say anything” she stuttered “Not – not a word”
“Good” he lowered his wand “Now I’m going to bed and I suggest you do the same”

He sat up on the quilt staring at the door waiting for the sound of her voice and her footsteps from when they came back from patrol together and the giggling that would come when Ron followed her into her room but it never came.

He got up grabbing his wand; they should have been back by now he thought looking at his watch. He heard footsteps and hid watching Ron walk in angrily, go to his room and slam the door closed and heard the lock turn. He went up to Hermione’s door and opened it to check. The bed was made, Hermione would especially come back here for stuff before she went to stay with Ginny, and she didn’t leave the dorm for the night without taking spare things in the weeks he’s been there. Something was wrong. He went outside and began to search.

He thought the best way would be to retrace her steps, the first place she’d been that evening – McGonagall’s office. He walked up quickly lighting his wand and squinting around until he saw her.

He walked over a hand on her shoulder,
“Ron” she said and looked up,
“Ron’s in the dorm, what happened?” he sat down beside her,
“He got angry; I didn’t tell him about the letter from the ministry and he found out tonight and exploded”
“You didn’t tell him- why not?”
“Because he would have been a pig to live with just like he was all those other times something good happens to anyone that’s not him”
“Ah” Replied Draco “Come on, lets get you back to the dorm”
“No, no I can’t go back there and see him”
“He’s in bed; he can’t do anything if I’m there”
“He will, he’ll blame you, just like he thought me and Harry were cheating on Ginny”
“Why are you with him if he’s like this?”
“I love him” she smiled weakly “I should have told him”
He stood up and held out a hand to her “What’s done is done, just make the best of tomorrow and hope he sees what he’s missing” he pulled her up and into a hug, “He’s made a mistake in leaving you like this”
“How did you know where I was?”
“I knew something was wrong when you didn’t come back with him, I hear you most nights, your always telling him to be quiet and not to disturb Amy and I”
“Oh” she murmured surprised but still in shock he would risk getting caught to find her,
“Why did you come?”
“I’m your friend, you needed me” he smiled and put his arm round her shoulder “Come on, before Filch finds us”
“I'm head girl I get immunity” she said quietly,
“Then I’d better leave you here all by yourself to face him and Mrs Norris” he grinned letting go and walking on ahead, but she couldn’t see his smile in the dark,
“No, don’t please” she replied desperately,
“I was joking Hermione” he sighed walking back to her and replacing his arm “I won’t leave you”

So now Draco is good? Few!!!!!! I wanted him to be good so much!!! Oh but he's after Hermione and that's not good for Ron (not so sure if it's better for Hermione or not....)

“Hey” she said as she knocked on the door “it’s me”
“What … erm … what do you want?” he said sitting up and walked to the door but not opening it,
“I wanted to talk to you, see if you’re ok”
He opened the door “I’m fine”
She tiptoed and planted a kiss before he could speak anymore, her hands taking his cheeks. She felt his arms give in and snake around her waist pulling her inside.
“Much better now though” he smirked locking the door. She was standing there smiling in her singlet and pyjama bottoms just looking at him.
“How certain are you about that?” she murmured moving forward her hands reaching to rest on his bare chest,
“Completely”

Okay, I only have one thing to say...that had better be Ron and Hermione or Draco and Amy and not a combination because if it is and Ron cheats on Hermione I'm gonna be soooooooo angry at him!!!!!!! PAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
