oooohhhhh!!!!! it seems that the minister is having trouble keeping control of the trial!! that's what happens when you **** the wrong people off. if it were me i would've chin checked the minister!!! i would've been like WAPOW!!!!!! obviously the minister is a dunce and is prosecuting the wrong people!!!!!!!!!

awwwww your all soooooo lovely x a post is coming tonight or tomorow ! I can't believe peeps are like sitting an reading all of it.. i got told the average novels like 90,000 words... this has gone on for 135,279 words and 214 pgs in word lol

Chapter Sixty – Eight

“Mr Weasley”
“Minister” Said Ron eying up his questioner,
“What is Mr Potter’s relationship to you?”
“He’s my best friend – well no – more then that – he’s like another brother”
“And you have how many brothers?”
“Five but that’s not -”
“There have been times when you and haven’t been so friendly I take it?” said the minister cutting in before Ron could explain what he meant.
“Yes… a few I guess” he rubbed his neck trailing off nervously,
“For instance”
“Like when he started seeing my sister”
“Seeing?”
“Yeh seeing, how specific you after Minister, you want details?” Ron snapping and getting angry “This has nothing to do with what you’re trying to pin on him”
“Just trying to establish the relationship Mr Weasley” replied Scrimgeour
“Well like I said, Harry’s my brother and my best friend” Ron sighed,
“And these times when you weren’t so brotherly what happened?”
“There were punches thrown on both sides, he got angry and collapsed. He was in a coma for three days the first time, four days the next. He lay unconscious in Mungo’s and the hospital wing at school but you would know that if you actually bothered to look at the last few months in Harry’s life properly”

The minister took a deep breath, reconsidered his position and where to attack from next, they were well prepared but Ronald was nervous, and easy to break.

“And during these comatose periods where were you?”
“Hiding” Ron replied, shuffling his feet and looking down.
“Hiding, why?”
“Harry being angry was my fault. The link between him and Voldemort was strongest when he was angry”
“So technically you gave him the opportunity to kill Bellatrix Lestrange” Said Scrimgeour with a twisted face and glint in his cold yellow eyes.
“Well yes but -”
“So you are as much responsible for the murder just as much as he is” He replied triumphantly with a swish of his hand,
“Well no … Harry did that himself” Hermione closed her eyes in a grimace as Ron tried to correct himself “But well all know that if he hadn’t a lot more people would be dead, and if anyone else had done it you wouldn’t have put them on trial, your just using Harry for show so you can look like your doing your jobs”
Harry’s smile didn’t fade, and Hermione’s eyes opened with a small smile telling him he had redeemed himself.
“I think that’s enough Mr Weasley” the guard moved to take hold of his arm
“He didn’t do it without reason” said Ron not feeling the guard tugging on his arm. Ron was six foot something, and had a muscular frame that made him appear easier to shift then he actually was. With a pull of his arm in from the grip of the guard he watched the little man topple over.
“Sorry” he lent down to help him up as Harry smiled wider, Hermione giggled slightly and Draco laughed into his chin.
“Enough” said the minster “Giles leave Mr Weasley and escort in Professor Willow Jacobs”
Ron screwed up his nose and face in worried look as he made his way to sit next to Hermione.

The little man came back a few seconds later bringing Willow in behind him. She looked angrily at the minister, and then turned to Harry and saw his smiling face wondering what had gone on. She looked to Hermione for conformation who nodded fervently in reply and now it was just Harry left wondering what communication had gone on between them, as the minister began to talk and he felt Ginny sitting his subconscious again.

‘Gin’
‘Hey piggy’
‘Oi don’t be mean I’m on trial here’
‘Just hurry up and come back to me’
‘Your parents could keep me a way for four days, the ministers not going to stop me with a life time’

“Harry” he heard someone calling him “Harry” he blinked his way back into the room again,
“You talking to her again” it was Draco whispering to him, or more like hissing to him.
“Yeh sorry”
“Just don’t do that glace over look, we five seem to know what you’re doing but they don’t” he grinned nudging his head to the Wizengamot, talking amongst themselves. And the minister spoke up.
“Mr Potter your back with us then”
“Erm sorry about that”
“We told them about the Ginny link” Said Draco with a grin “They thought you’d gone in to a trance”
“This link you have, where is the girl?” said Lady Flagstaff and the Wizengamot nodded in agreement with the question.
“Just outside the door, she’s a witness”
“Bring her in Giles, Miss Jacobs will you take a seat” Said the woman. The minister had handed over control to Lady Flagstaff without even realising and just stood there wondering what is place was now. Willow took a seat beside Hermione,
“You might as well let in the Professor and-”she glanced at the list “Mr Vaughn as well, this won’t take long” She smiled seeing the ministers mouth open and close, “Don’t you agree Minister, I think we know the answer for Mr Potter, Mr Malfoy and Miss O’Malley”
He just gaped like a gold fish and kept silent,
“I thought so to” she smiled in reply, “Ahh Miss Weasley, would you be so kind as to talk to us in the stand”
Ginny nodded and made her way into it smiling at Harry and then turning to Lady Flagstaff.
“So you and Mr Potter share something?”
“Erm… yes… thoughts, dreams memories”
“Memories” she turned to the Wizengamot “Extraordinary” they all nodded in reply. “So if, Harry went to Azkaban you would share his experience”
“Yes, I get the bad stuff and the good stuff”
“When did this develop?”
“Just the last few days, it’s been about a week”
“It had interesting timing appearing now”
“It was an emotionally fuelled time. I lost him to death only two weeks ago and then the minister decides to put him up for murder, it feels like everything’s trying to pull us apart when we’ve only just stopped my parents doing it”
“Your parents were against this relationship?”
“They thought Harry was too dangerous-” Ron coughed loudly and she glared at him,
“And it did turn out that he wasn’t just the madman after him was” She said with a grin knowing full well what Ron and the woman had meant.
“So what did you think when Harry told you he killed Mrs Lestrange?”
“I was shocked but I know Harry better then anyone, he explained to me what had happened and he was so shocked within himself. He knows him killing someone even her was wrong and he had to convince
me of that since I thought he had nothing to feel guilty about”
“You thought he’d done nothing wrong?”
“Yes, that women deserved to die for what she’d done, who she’d tortured. Our friend Neville lost his parents to her – yes there still alive but they don’t know who he is. She took away Harry’s godfather one of the only links to his parents left, she had no regard for anyone’s life and her own sister and nephew don’t think he was wrong for stopping her.”
“Have you seen the picture?” said the minister speaking and holding up his hand to stop Lady Flagstaff’s interruptions.

“What pictures?” Said Ginny and Harry together.
“Minister I don’t think it would be wise to-”
“- nonsense, she needs to see what Harry left of Mrs Lestrange”
“Left what do you mean left?” said Harry
“My boy we found her in pieces”
“What! No! That wasn’t me, I would never – that’s disgusting – its mutilation - how if I was so disgusted with myself for killing her could I ...” His sentence trailed off as the large flat box was brought forward that had been carried in at the beginning. The minister had been saving this for the finale.

“Witches and Wizards of the Wizengamot I present you with the crime scene photos from the murder of Bellatrix Lestrange”

The box was opened and several bound parchment books floated out and into the hands of the Wizengamot. The minister picked one out as the gasps of shock swept through the people. He handed it to Ginny but she didn’t take it.

“Minister I don’t think that’s appropriate” said the Lady Flagstaff “It is not prudent to place undue stress on the girl when it can be avoided”
“She needs to see what her lover does when he kills”
“Gin don’t believe it, I didn’t do whatever is in there don’t look at it”
“I know” she replied quietly and took it and opened it. It was horrid. She was a mess, and unrecognisable mess of body, blood and robes. Her hand went to her mouth and her eyes closed as she flung the book away from her. “Harry couldn’t have” she gulped feeling sick rise in her throat and turned away.

Harry watched her helplessly chained away from her as she began to feel light headed, and he felt it too
“RON SHE’S GONNA FAINT” He shouted and Ron looked up, jumped out of the gallery and ran over to catch her just in time.

“GIN” He shouted yanking at the chains “LET ME OUT NOW” He pulled at them desperately “GINNY”

Ron looked down at her, she was pale and sickly looking. He shook her slightly, “Ginny, Ginny” he whispered. Her eyes opened.

Harry was still pulling at the chains frantically as Ron looked up over the stand
“Harry, she’s ok, calm down” He helped her up lifting her into his arms and carrying her out.
“I need Harry” She said weakly to him “Please just let him hold me”
He nodded and turned back from the seats he was heading to. The minister spoke up as if to stop him,

“What are you doing Mr Weasley return to your seats” he pointed to the guards to stop him but they just stood there when Lady Flagstaff raised her hand, watching with baited breath.
“Leave them” she said firmly.

Ron carried her over and lifted her into the stand where Harry was waiting. She didn’t know how to get close enough to him with the chains stopping his arms, until he lifted them up. They went over her head and held on to her around her shoulders as her own wrapped round his middle tightly.

“I’m ok” she replied before he asked her. He breathed in the scent from her hair and it felt like a life time since they’d been so close even though it had only been one night. He tried to say something but couldn’t “I – I -”
“I’m ok really” She whispered and he nodded bending down to kiss her forehead,
“I’d better go now” she pulled away reluctantly and ducked under his arms leaving the stand. Harry turned to stare at the minister

“Why would you do that? How could you think I would even do that to someone?” he’d saw the image just as clearly has Ginny had when she looked at the photo.
“That’s how we found her Mr Potter”
“And do think someone who had never killed anyone before would use a dismemberment hex on a body?”
“You know your own work” He replied smirking “You haven’t seen the picture so you must have been at the crime scene”
“I saw it through Ginny well enough” he nearly growled angrily “And I Know I know the work of dark wizards when I see it which is why I’m training to be an Auror next year”

“I don’t think the ministry hires those with criminal records and or who have been on trial with death eaters” Said the minister standing a little further forward, his arms leaning on his desk as if he was trying to be imposing.

Harry smiled slightly at the fact the minister didn’t know “Good job the law enforcement is completely on my side that they sent me an acceptance letter into the training program already when they all knew about this so called trial”

“We’ll see about that” The minister sat down as if in an act on finality on the subject.

“I think I’ll be seeing you next year as the former Mister of Magic Mr Scrimgeour” Harry replied and sat down leaving the ministers fuming in his seat.
“Shall we process Mr Malfoy first?” said the lady and the minister nodded “Vote for life imprisonment?”
There was a shaking of heads and no hands
“A vote for freed of charges on the provision he returns to schooling and is placed on a probation period” Said Lady Flagstaff,
All the hands went up. Draco grinned as the gavel banged and the guard undid his hands. He hugged Harry who was completely shocked
“Thank you for your forgiveness” he smiled and Harry nodded with a grin but didn’t speak, “You’ll be joining us in a minute” he said stepping out of the dock and sitting with the group. Ginny nodded her head at him and he sat down beside her.
“Right well now we’ve established some things lets have a vote – Who believes that Mr Potter is responsible for the death of Mrs Lestrange?”
All the hands went up and the minister smiled about to say something but Lady Flagstaff cut in
“Who believes that Mr Potter did this”- she held up the booklet – “To her corpse?”
No ones hand went up, “And who thinks that the Mr Potter should be charged and sentenced for the murder of Mrs Bellatrix Lestrange?”

Ginny’s hand clutched Hermione’s, who was holding on to hers and Ron’s. Caleb’s felt his hand crushed in Willows grip, Professor McGonagall was holding on to her other. Draco watched the ministers face as everyone else’s eyes were on the Wizengamot. Harry drew in a deep breath taking in all of there faces in a split second as a decision was made.

ok so i havn't quite decided on Harry's fate... I wrote two more chapters but they don't seem right and I don't like killing people hehe so im going to change them, maybe a new addition or kill off a badie not a goodie like i had written and will see where we get to... you should have a post by tomorow nite, i hate to leave u hangin but it had to be done ... ok so it didn't have to be done - but im a ramblin on so i'll say bye and if u have any ideas lemme know !!!!! post um on here CAUSE THIS IS A STORY FOR U ALL so its really up to u..
