YUUSSS! Ze update! No Shower!Draco as of yet, I'm afraid.

“Ron! Hermione! What are you two doing?”

“Nothing,” I said at once, my voice guilty enough to imply, straightaway, that we had been doing something – which, I tried to convince myself, would be an assumption completely untrue: Ron was my best friend, and the hug implied little, aside from comradeship.

– For some reason, my internal arguments failed to convince me.

Harry looked at me, one eyebrow raised, and then he looked at Ron, his gaze twice as dry as it was suspicious. I felt the joy that had bustled through both of them at Gryffindor’s win evaporate, and I felt my own joy at Gryffindor’s win follow suit. “There’s a party in the common room,” He said finally, his tones very dry. “If the two of you might have time to join me –”

“Of course, Harry,” I said quickly, before he could go on and say something worse. It was hard for me to understand this new turn of events – Harry and Ron, I decided, were at fault here. They were making me nervous, a lot if not on purpose, and they did not seem care in the least for the dis-ease they were causing me.

I did not want to think about them, or about my own self.

“I – I remembered I had something to talk to Ginny about,” Ron said, evenly dry of tones, and he hurried over to where she stood at once, the centre of a laughing group that included Dean, Seamus, Parvati and Demelza, and a very furious Lavender Brown.

I was quiet, left alone with Harry, at a loss for words and for actions. I could not help feeling he was angry at me, and the thought made me uncomfortable, especially since I could not see – or, perhaps, because I did not want to admit –the reason for his anger.

We walked up to the common room in silence, Ginny’s group following without - I thought enviously - a care in the world.
