This idea came to me while I was listening to a song the other day. And I just had to write it down. Its after Harry and Ginny are finished school. Read on to find out what its about.

That is that song that has really been bugging me lately, it has been making me think about my boyfriend and my relationship lately. I don't know how I ever thought the whole distance thing would work.
You see the think is that I am a witch at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am going to start my 6th year tomorrow, and the amount of attention I got has finally gone down, and I am sure glad that nothing about my dad ever hits the muggle papers because then Ray would know that I'm not just an ordinary girl, I'm far from ordinary. There has been so many times that he rants on about how much he doesn't like the thought of magic. Interupting my rant. There's a good reason to dump him, how can I of been so oblivious to that until now. First thing in the morning I'll do it before I head off to school.
Mom and dad thing that telephones are stupid, but with ray they came in handy.
The phone started ringing at 6 this morning. It's only in my room since mom, dad, my little sister Amber, and my older brother Ian all think that its stupid to have muggle things in the house.
"Hello?"
"Morning, Keely!"
"Oh, hi Ray. Why are you calling me at six in the morning?"
" I just wanted to talk to you babe. Is that so wrong?" he retorted.
Maybe I'm gunna have to be a little bit mean to get rid of him.
"I've got a name you know! And I wanted to get some sleep. I leave for school for the year with Ian and Mom in 4 and a half hours. I didn't need to be woken up by a jerk who thinks he owns me. Well let me tell you something! You have gone to far and annoyed me for son lone and we are OVER!" I yelled
"But babe..." he said slowly
"My Name is Keely. Not babe!!" And I hung up.

The rest of the morning my phone kept ringing but I never once answered it. I didnt want to talk to Ray again. Not now, not so fast.

SCORE ONE FOR KEELY!!! Woot woot!! That jerk, he's so...jerk-like! This is awesome!!! Totally continue!!!

As I said, heres a post, I know its short, but more later.

It's finally 10 o'clock. Dad said we were supposed to be leaving because he refused to use magic to get to the train station. First of all, because the train station is too crowded and second of all, since I won't answer my phone, Ray has been knocking on the front door all morning. Ian was ready to blow him up because he got woken up from his 'beauty sleep'. But mom stopped him and put a silencing charm on the door instead.

"Keely Potter! Get down here! We are going to be late, and you know your aunt doesn't tolerate lateness. Now HURRY up!!" Mom shouted from down stairs.

"Coming."

My mother is really quite pretty, just not when she's mad. I've got her red hair and dad's emerald eyes. According to my best friend Matt, it makes me look quite stunning. He shouldn't be talking with his gorgeous blue eyes eyes though. It makes him look so cute. Did I just think about him like that? I couldn't of.

We ended up being really late leaving so dad put a memory charm on Ray. All he remembers now is me breaking up with him. We apparated to the station with 4 loud 'pops'.

Now why 4 'pops'? Well, I side apparated with dad, Ian passed his test this summer, mom, and Uncle Ron apparated with Carly along side. Out of all my cousins (and I've got a lot) she is my favorite. She's in my year and one of my best friends. Her hair is brown, like Aunt Hermione's, but straight and long, like Uncle Ron's. She has got a brother, a year older then Ian so he's already out of Hogwarts.

"Hey, Keely!"

"Hi, Carly."

"It seems like forever since I last saw you!"

"You just saw me yesterday at lunch Carly, can you not go that long without your beloved cousin?" I said laughing.

"No I can't as a matter of fact, " Carly said.

It's a good start. Keep up the good work... Sorry, this is short, I need to go to sleep. Night!

"Oh, look theres the train lets go say bye and find an emty compartment before Matt this time!"

Carly and I found a compartment and Matt quickly found us, we sat and talked for about half an hour or so until Carlysuddently stood up and as good as shouted 'I ALMOST FORGOT' and raced out the door.

She came rushing back in a few seconds later, grabbed her prefect badge and took off saying that she would see us at the feast, leaving me and Matt alone.

We were playing cards and every time I looked at him, my stomach felt like it was spinning, but very slowly. It was queezy and yet welcoming at the same time.

Out of the blue, Matt asked, "Why didn't you answer my calls this morning? I had something I really wanted to say, but you wouldn't answer the 10 different times that I called."

"Sorry, I thought you were Ray."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I broke up with him. I got 50 different calls and I just ignored them. He showed up on my doorstep, but mom wouldn't let him in, and then she silenced him."

"Oh, I see, now."

Half an hour of silence later...

"So why were you calling? What was it that you needed to tell me so badly?" I asked.

"Can I have a hug?" Matt asked.

"That's what you needed to tell me??"

"Partly, yes. The hug though?" he half pleaded.

"Okay, fine." So I went over and gave him a hug. When I went to go back to my seat on the other side, he whispered, "No please, don't go, stay here and sit with me?"

I gave in and sat with him, mainly in silence. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it. For the last year, whenever I was left alone with him it always felt kind of weird and awkward. Now it feels kind of nice.

"Do you ever feel like some things are meant to be?" I asked to break the silence.

"Yes, but there's something I wanted to talk to you about..." Matt said.

"What? You know you can tell me anything, right?"

"Yes... Well, um, I was wondering if you would, um... like to... be my girlfriend?" he stumbled.

I was extremely shocked when he asked me this. I didn't have any idea that he felt this way. For the last 2 years he didn't go without a girlfriend for more than 2 weeks. Now he was looking at me with a shimmer in his eyes that I have never seen before with any other guy that has liked me. My stomach and my head felt like they were moving in slow motion. Maybe I actually do like him.

Yes... but why? You never seemed interested in me before. Why now?" I replied a little strictly.

"This is kind of hard for me to admit... but, it was all to make you jealous. But this year I decided that I'd just tell you. It feels better just to be open about it. Everything about you makes me feel good. I can't stand it when you are mad at me. Nothing ever seems right when you are upset, or mad," he said. Then, he abruptly got up from beside me and stormed out of the compartment.

Sorry, just HAD to leave it like that....

Great so now he's mad at me. What did I do? I answered what he asked me and I don't think he asked to be rejected, but I didn't reject him. So why is he mad at me? I better go and find him...

I walked out of the compartment and since we had been at the very end I started glancing in every compartment I passed. I had about five compartments left when I spotted him. He was making out with Jocelyn from Ravenclaw. I opened the door pretending I hadn't seen anything.

"Sorry wrong compartment," I muttered. I slammed the door and ran quickly to the back of the train. As soon as I got in back to the compartment I slammed the door and locked it.

here it is, just a little earlier then I thought.

Well, this is the last post that you're gunna get for awhile, If you have any ideas, let me know. I'm just kinda at a spot that I can't write anything. I've been not all that great lately. And I'm super tired. My friend went home at 2 in the morning because she wasn't feeling that good, and didn't want to keep me up. so It kinda really sucks.. I hadn't seen her in a long time.

But here's your post, and its not all that good. but it was just something that i had to put in. I'm still half making introductions.

I was so upset. What did I ever do to make him go and make out with someone he knows I hate? And right after he asked me out. I had said yes. Hadn't I? Yes, I'm sure I did.

I needed to talk to Lyssa. She's my other best friend. I grew up with her too. Her mom Luna is one of my moms friends. Luna Longbotton, is quite extrodinary. She always seems to know what's wrong before I even tell her. She has a habit of finishing my sentences. I could use her smile right about now, to bad she's at the prefect meeting with Carly and my brother, who also happens to be her boyfriend. They never seem to fight and they've been together for over a year now. How I wish Matt and I could be like that and we wouldn't fight. I wonder if they would let me into the prefect meeting. Nah, I'm not that desperate, just really upset.

For the rest of the train ride I sat in the compartment by my self, leaving the door unlocked incase Carly and Lyssa came back. Matt came down near the end but I just pretended that I was asleep. He came over and kissed me softly and I faintly heard him whisper "Hopefully one day you'll know how much you mean to me Keely."

We arrived at Hogwarts for the feast but there was noone in the Headmistress seat. Instead my Aunt(she's headmistress) was sitting in the muggle studies chair. Once everyone had settled down she stood up.

"I know that normally I would be sitting that that seat, but I've decided that it too much for me to handle. Starting this year we will have a new Headmaster. All the staff know that he will do an excellent job and are very pleased that he has finally accepted the post. Please join us in welcoming my best friend, Mr. Harry Potter!!" she said then sitting down.

Cheers erupted from the whole hall, except for those wearing silver and green. I was just shocked. Why didn't dad tell me. Normally he tells me everything about school. Maybe it was just something so that he'd be able to keep a watchful eye on me. Wait, he already had my aunt to do that.
