Shattered Love
Introduction
This story is about the defeat of one of the greatest heroes in wizarding history. The Earth stopped spinning the day Harry James Potter died. Though his body was never found, he was pronounced dead at the final battle between good and evil. Good won but with a horrible price. Devastated at the loss of her husband, Hermione Potter has fallen into an emotional coma. She doesn’t believe that he’s dead and nothing anybody says changes her mind. All alone to care for her small child, Cecilia Jane Potter, Hermione can’t escape the voices of her deceased lover. Months past and Hermione still won’t live up that her husband is dead. She believes he’s just lost, waiting to be found. She’s miserable and doesn’t understand what his voice is trying not tell her.
Chapter 1, “He’s Taking Over Me.”
I lay in bed on my side, watching the clock and every minute I’m without him. I know he’s not dead, he can’t be. He’s Harry Potter! He can do anything and everything. I out my face in my hands and cried and once again heard it. The voice calling out for help, I hear it almost everyday.
Help me, Hermione! Please, don’t give up! I’m not dead!
It’s different every time but it’s the same thing. It’s what keeps me from giving up. Everybody seems to think I’m crazy but it’s only because they haven’t heard it. They haven’t had to listen to the panic and desperation in his voice every time he talks to me. He’s taking over me. He takes over my dreams. I walk through the halls of my empty house and sing of him.

Everybody thinks that I need to see somebody to get over Harry. But I refused and have been in this house alone with my daughter for a few days. I have refused to see anybody because I know that want me to forget. But I never will.

Yeah, thats one of my favorite songs too! I'm going to use another Evanescence song in a few posts because i am a huge fan and maybe a My Chemical Romance song. I think that in every other post im going to have lyrics. Ok, I am really sorry how long writing the next post is taking! I've had tons of hw this week so I'm going to try and finish it.

OK OK I'm posting! Ok, so here's the deal.All of my post will have song titles for the names and whenever I find good lyrics that go with the post, I'll put them in. Ok, Chapter 2!
Chapter 2,Can’t Take It
I was feeding baby CeCe some baby carrots, which trust me, don’t taste very good, when the door bell rang. I picked her up out of her high chair and held her at my hip when I opened the front door. It was Ginny and her boyfriend and one of my close friends, Draco.
“Hi Hermione!” Ginny and Draco exclaimed.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” I said.
“Oh, we were just in the neighborhood, so we decided to drop on by” Ginny said, even though I knew that it was for something else.
“Can I play with CeCe?” Draco asked happily.
“Of course, here baby, go to Uncle Draco!” I said and they both grinned. Draco and Cecilia love each other so much. Their faces brighten up whenever they are by each other. I make a point to say “uncle” a lot though. I don’t want her to think he’s her father. Plus she has only one aunt (Ginny) and her 7 crazy uncles (Draco, Ron, Fred, George, Percy,*he finally apologized*, Charlie and Bill).I pity the first boy who asks her out on a date.
“Hey Hermy, can I talk to you for a second?” Ginny asked. Just as I had suspected.
“Sure, what about?” I asked taking my seat and screwing the cap on the baby food.
“Umm…about Harry” she said quietly.
I avoided her eye, because I didn’t want to deal with this whole “Harry is dead thing”
“Oh, what about Harry?” I asked like it didn’t bother me and I didn't know what she was saying.
“I think you know what I mean but I’ll just say it again. Hermione you have to realize that he is gone. I know that you hurt, we all do but we’re not in denial.”
I sighed, “I’m not in denial because Harry isn’t dead. I’ll prove it to you guys!”
I said with unwanted tears in my eyes. I wiped them away and looked
straight into Ginny’s eyes.
“Look, I know a great grief physiatrist. He’s the dad of my friend Rahbecka’s and he’s really nice. I think you should go and see him not only for yourself but for your daughter.” Ginny said and slipped a business card across the table.
I was silent during the whole time. She thinks I need professional help!
“Just think about what I said, Hermione” Ginny said and got up from the table.
“Come on Draco, I think we should go”
He set her down in her play pen and walked out the door, hugging me on the way out. I can’t understand anybody anymore! Why won’t they just leave me and Harry alone! He’s not dead. He can’t be. “You speak to me and I know this will be temporary
You ask to leave, but I can tell you that I've had enough I can't take it*” I remembered those lyrics from an American rock band. Harry loves me, so why does he haunt me? I know he needs me but I don't know how to help him.

Chapter 3, Nobody’s Home
I slid the card across the table and looked at it. Everybody wanted this for me. I called and go an appointment with Dr. Vain. Ron was watching the baby but I didn’t want to talk to some shrink. But everybody wanted this for me so when 2:30 came around, I apprated to the office and waited until my name was called. People looked at me with sympathy but I just ignored them. I walked into a room where a dark skinned man was sitting in a chair.
“Mrs. Potter, please take a seat.” He said and pointed to a chair across from him.
I sat on the seat and looked at him, wondering what was going to happened.
“Mrs. Potter, I’d like for you to tell me why you are here.” Dr. Vain said.
“ Well, I’m here because everybody believes that my husband is dead but he’s not. They think I’m crazy or something.” I said honestly. I didn’t know why I was here, but I need help.
“ Crazy?” he asked, confused.
“ My husband isn’t dead!” I said loudly.
“Why do you think he’s not? He’s been missing for 4 ½ months right?” asked Dr. Vain.
“Yes, but he’s told me to not give up on him. His voice haunts me everywhere I turn. I can’t get away!” I said, putting my face into my hands.
“It’s ok, Mrs. Potter, that’s why you’re here, to begin your life as a single mother and as a widow, as you should have months ago. Anything we talk about is confidential.” He said.
Over the next few sessions, everything seemed to make sense. Harry’s voice still haunted me, asleep or awake. Cecilia was getting very big and is crawling everywhere. I feel so helpless but I understand now. Exactly what I was running away from, which is mourning. Feeling the feelings of sadness and understanding that your loved one is gone, forever. I understand what I need to do, which is confront my fear and the one that that has made my life miserable. *What's wrong, what's wrong now? Too many, too many problems. Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs. She wants to go home, but nobody's home. It's where she lies, broken inside. With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes. Broken inside.* That’s how I feel. Like my home isn’t a home anymore, all I have is myself and my daughter. Time to face facts and get on with my life.
