Hey! It's Katie! This is my first one-shot fanfic! It's called SOS from a song by Good Charlotte!
Hermione made her way onto the Hogwarts train for the last time. Ron and Harry were both dead, killed by Death Eaters. She had wanted to go and fight, but Lupin had given her a smaller, safer assignment. She could have saved them. She knew she could have.
She chose a car that was empty, and plugged in her Ipod, a cool muggle device her parents had gotten her. She knew it wouldn't work at Hogwarts, but she needed some music to match her mood. A muggle group by the name of Good Charlotte came on, and Hermione listened and let the tears flow.
Is anybody listening?
Can they hear me when I call?
I'm shooting signals in the air

I can't make it on my own
So I'm giving up myself

Listening
I've been stranded here and I'm miles away
Making signals hoping they'd save me
I lock myself inside these walls

The train stopped with a jerk, and the song immediately stopped playing, shut down by the magic surrounding Hogwarts. She put it in her pocket, and left the train. She didn't hear anything, didn't see anything, and couldn't feel anything. She got into a carriage numbly and almost sat on someone.
"Hey! Watch it-oh, hey Hermione."
"Malfoy? What are you doing here?" Hermione whispered.
"My mother wanted me to finish out the year. She doesn't care if people hate me." Malfoy looked away and into the rain. "I suppose you wouldn't know how that feels, to have someone hate you."
"No, but I know how it feels to have lost someone dear," Hermione said quietly.
"How?"
"Listen." Hermione waved her wand to give her Ipod an extra bit of power, and let Malfoy listen to the song. His eyes widened.
"That's...that's me...." Malfoy started to cry. Hermione put an arm around him.
"Malfoy....Draco...I'm listening. And I'm here, and I can hear you when you call."
"I'll...I'll do the same for you Hermione. I promise. Just...I need a friend right now, please don't leave me?" Draco clutched at Hermione, and cried harder. "Despite what you said...you can't possibly know what it's like..."
"I'll never leave you." Hermione promised.
OK! That's it! How was it?

Oh...pity it's a one-shot. It's awesome! and sad...awesome like your other FFs. This story really would be a hit and a lot more people would come reading it if it wasn't an one-shot. They're just going to leave...anyways, you did an awesome job!

 Awwww...Hermione and Draco are going through the same things. It's good that they can be going through this together. I have actually never heard the G.C. song,i'll have to listen to it.That was great!
