Hey guys!

This is my one shot, based on the song by Sixpence None the Richer, called “Kiss Me.” I would recommend listening to the song during, before, or after reading this fic, ‘cause it makes it a bit more special

“’Mione, come on.” Ron tugged at her hand gently, causing her to turn away from Ginny.

“Come where?” She asked, her whole face glowing happily. It’s the dress. Ron told himself. She looks gorgeous in that dress.

“It’s time for the bridge and groom to dance.” He whispered in her ear, his breath tickling her and causing her to laugh quietly. “Come on.”

“Ron, I can’t dance, and you know it.”

“This doesn’t constitute as dancing.” Ron said firmly. “It’s more of a…swaying type thing.”

Hermione laughed again. “Alright, you’ve convinced me.” She stood up, and, her fingers laced with Ron’s, allowed him to lead her out onto the dance floor, lit only by the light of the silver moon above them.

Ron nodded toward the band and they began playing. He then signaled Harry, who nudged Ginny, who poked Luna. At once, all three of them waved their wands, and out of nowhere, thousands of fireflies began lighting up the outdoor area. Hermione looked around for a moment and gasped. “Oh, Ron.” She shook her head slightly, a smile playing on her face. “You really know what I like, don’t you?”

“I try.” Ron shrugged, gently pulling her closer to his lanky frame.

The band’s lead singer began to voice the lyrics of the song. Their song.

Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass.

“That was a good night.” Hermione smiled after listening to the line. “I remember that night.”

”You better.” Ron said fiercely. “I’ll never, ever forget it. If I ever get a Memory Wiping charm put on me, I’ll still remember that night, because it was probably the greatest night of my life. It was the first night that we kissed. Remember?”

“You woke me up at three in the morning.” Hermione reminisced. “And took me out into the field behind your house. It was a wheat field, though, not a barley field.”

“Close enough.”

“And you kissed me there. Took you an entire hour to work up the courage.”

“But you forgot the best part.”

“You did that every night for the next two weeks.” Hermione nodded happily. “I remember.”

Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

“Do you remember that night?”

“Yeah.” Ron said. “Harry and Ginny’s wedding night. We danced until four in the bloody morning.”

“And you wore those ridiculous shoes,” Hermione reminded him. “You can’t forget about the shoes—they were the best part. George jinxed them, didn’t he? Once the moon started shining, they turned pink and sprouted little roses.”

“Yes.” Ron grumbled. “I remember the damn shoes.”

After scolding Ron for his excessive swearing, Hermione began to speak again. “And I had the most gorgeous dress I’ve ever seen. Ginny picked it out, because I was the maid of honor. It was dark, dark blue with—“

“With silver sparkles all over it.” Ron finished. “And I told you that they reminded me of the way your eyes sparkle when you’re excited.”

Hermione laid her head on Ron’s shoulder as she listened to the chorus of the song.

“Don’t mind if I do.” Ron said, leaning down and catching Hermione’s lips with his own. She smiled contentedly.

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire.

“There is no way in Merlin’s lifetime that I could forget about that night.” Hermione said.

“No?” Ron teased. “Whyever not?”

“Let’s recall, shall we?” Hermione replied, tugging at Ron’s fiery hair gently. “You took me way, way out into the forest by your house, to the treehouse where you and Fred and George used to play. And I wanted to climb up to the top of it, and you let me! You completely failed to let me know that it was on the verge of collapsing!” Hermione’s eyebrows were now furled slightly.

“Ahh.” Ron said, smoothing out the creases on her forehead. “But that was the best part, love. Because when you got to the top and were laughing and laughing, you were beautiful. And happy. Happier than I had seen you in years.”

“But then I fell!” Hermione protested.

“I didn’t let you get hurt, though, did I?”

“No.” Hermione murmured. “You’re right. You caught me.”

“’Course I did. You think that I could really let your gorgeous self get hurt?” Ron said softly, kissing her tenderly once again. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map.

“Hmm…” Ron said thoughtfully. “I don’t remember anything about a flowered hat. But I do remember a trail marked on my brother’s map.”

Hermione burst into peals of laughter. “ ‘William Weasley’s No-Fail, Charm The Witch, Be Romantic, and Get Some Action All In One Night’ map.” She looked over at Bill and smirked at him. He knew what they were talking about. “Oh my. That was a fun night.”

“I told you, he swore it would work! He said it worked on Fleur and he proposed to her that night.”

“It was slightly stupid of you to listen to Bill.” Hermione chided. “But it turned out okay, didn’t it?”

“I had to promise to deknome Bill’s garden for a year just to get a hold of that bloody map!” Ron said angrily. Hermione failed to notice that as Ron’s came to face Bill’s table, his brother received an angry hand gesture from dearest Ronald. “And it didn’t even do much for me! It was still Mum’s cooking that helped the most.”

Ron had taken Hermione through the tangling woods (using Bill’s faulty map) and brought her to a secluded place in the middle of the woods, where a picnic (consisting of quite a bit of Mrs. Weasley’s cooking) was set up. That was the night he had proposed to her.

“Do it. I dare you.” Hermione finally said, looking at Ron’s face.

“Hmm?”

“Kiss me.” She whispered in his ear. “I can see it on your face. You really want to, don’t you?”

“What can I say?” Ron laughed softly. “It’s our wedding day.” He leaned down and captured her in such a kiss that Hermione felt her knees go weak against Ron.

Since the invention of the kiss, there have been six kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind.

I Really really liked this oneshot.

Is the line from the Princess Bride? Cause if it is.. i think its supposed to be that there have been 5 kisses.but anyways..
The main characters were Westley and Indigo??? I think.I really like the movie, but i havnt watched it in a while.
