| "Dribble" #75 (Yodel): Leftover Veal
Millicent wobbled down the dungeon steps following a hearty breakfast of schnitzel and chapatti. She scanned every nook and cranny of the dark terrain. Satisfied with the surroundings, she removed her left hand from her cloak pocket and began to dig her canine tooth with a soggy toothpick.
Millicent took a deep breath as she freed a tiny piece of chicken schnitzel. A squeak reverberated throughout the dungeon as she opened her mouth. Annoyed, she made another attempt to yodel. This time, a slimy burp erupted the moment she unintentionally swallowed the tiny schnitzel. She threw the toothpick in disgust.

| "Dribble" #48 (Leprechaun): The Lepers and the Beast
“You two!”
Crabbe and Goyle gazed around stupidly.
”Behind you, rock cakes.”
Both began sniggering goofily at the success of achieving a clue. Millicent stared at them until they finally faced her.
”Congratulations,” she said gruffly whilst stuffing seven marshmallows into her mouth. “Now, entertain me.”
Goyle stared at his comrade and both shook their heads.
“I danced for you in my veela costume yesterday, so hurry up and return the favour.”
Crabbe groaned and lazily removed two viridian costumes from his backpack. Millicent was in a fit of ape-like giggles as both boys donned their costumes.
“My little heroes!” |

| "Dribble" #58 (Hoot): Hooch, Hoops, and Hoots - Dedicated to Jan.
As the rest of the first years marched towards the changing rooms, Milly continued to hover above the middle goal hoop.
“Gently pancake your way down here, Bulstrode!” shouted Madam Hooch from below.
Milly tightened her grip on the broom as a draught languidly drifted past.
She opened her heavy jaw with difficulty. “I c-can’t, Madam Hoot!” she shouted.
“It’s ‘Hooch’!”
”I DON’T GIVE A HOOT!”
Milly peered down nervously as her instructor stormed away. Her abnormally-sized ears perked up as the sonance of a thousand pairs of flapping wings grew ever louder.
A deep scream echoed across the pitch. |

| "Dribble" #86 (Daring): As Tough as Nails - Dedicated to Jan.
A thin plume of gas wafted endlessly from Milly’s cauldron. The accompanying putrid odour dispersed throughout the entire dungeon.
Milly cursed silently as she inhaled the miasma of dragon excreta and -
“Sandals, Bulstrode?” came Snape’s voice from three rows behind. “For future classes, may I suggest borrowing a pair of galoshes from Hagrid?”
Milly hastily scrunched up her toes. All the leprechaun toenails were taken!
As she made an attempt to fill up a potion flask, her fingers came into contact with the brown ooze.
An expression of fake valor was noticeable as grimy toenails began replacing stubby fingernails. |

| "Dribble" #69 (Slap): BULLSEYE! - As challenged by Jan.
A shadow grew as its owner made his way down from the boys’ dormitories. He tiptoed his way across the common room towards a nearby pillar.
A behemothic figure sat before a roaring fireplace. Several metres behind, the silhouette shuddered as two hairy feet shifted slightly on a pouffe.
“Crabbe darling, come, sit by me.”
Crabbe shuffled his way towards the tigress. A badly-wrapped package landed on Milly’s lap.
“Wha – gosh - for mua?”
Milly tore at the wrapping with her canines and revealed a bottle of -
“BABY POWDER?”
A bristly foot rose and collided into Crabbe’s snorting face. |

| "Dribble" #64 (Nap): What Goes Around Comes Around
Milly towered over the group of first years as the vermin around her were sorted.
As she waited, her shoulders hunched ever lower. By the time her name was called, her shadow looked no less than a hulking gargoyle.
Milly planted herself down onto the stool. As she dozed, she subconsciously felt sharp tugging from beneath. She sighed as she released the wind that had been accumulating during the wait.
She jerked as what felt like canvas landed forcefully onto her head.
Milly gagged as she breathed in the essence of her wind that had become ingrained into the hat. |

| "Dribble" #25 (Sorting Hat): The Hag vs. The Hat
As soon as she gained composure after several chesty coughs, Milly felt the Sorting Hat lift sharply from her head.
The sudden brightness of the Great Hall took her by surprise. She squinted her eyes and gazed upwards to discover the Sorting Hat hovering above.
Milly grabbed the frayed hat in true Keeper fashion.
“AS FOR MY HOUSE, YOU MUTED BAG O’ –”
She quickly registered a sea of eyes staring in her direction. A myriad of winking candles made it all the more daunting.
The brim of the hat widened. “Whichever house that isn’t tipping the scales, you ogre.” |

| "Dribble" #56 (Fight): Haggling Hags
“COMPETING PAIRS HAVE FIVE MINUTES REMAINING TO SELECT BOTH FARMER AND WHEELBARROW.”
The booming voice resonated past the changing rooms where Milly and Umbridge stood. Both looked equally disgruntled as they exchanged frowns. Muggle picnic races involving wheelbarrows and potato sacks certainly weren’t their cup of tea.
Milly shot Umbridge a dirty look. Umbridge looked taken aback.
“You can blame Minerva for nominating us.”
“I’ll wheel.”
“Not in a million croaks. Crawling’ll be the death of my make-up!”
“Yeah, well, a wet lawn is certainly a toad’s abode.”
“But hags crawl faster!”
“I say you leap us both to victory.” |

| "Dribble" #78 (Author's Choice - Trust): The Fattest Virtue
Umbridge glared upwards.
Milly returned the glare with evil pleasure. “You don’t have to grip that tight!” “Then stay still! All that fat wobbling through your legs makes it difficult.” “I can’t help it, so make do! My hands aren’t big enough to support my weight.” “Then move your hands further apart! At least try resembling those Chocolate Frogs.” “I’m not as strong as I was during my modeling years. And, for your information, I used to win races like this with my hubby.”
Milly sniggered heartily. She released her grip, sending the ball of lard crashing onto the lawn. |

| "Dribble" #53 (Chase): The Great Humbertos - as challenged by DJan.
“ATTENTION! TEAM THIRTEEN, KINDLY RETURN TO YOUR LANE!” shouted the commentator from the stands.
“YOU HAVE ONE MI– PEEVES! PLEASE RESUME Y–”
The megaphone squealed as Flitwick was tackled to the ground by the poltergeist. The megaphone squealed even louder as the poltergeist clambered onto the stack of books.
“GO DOLLY! GO BULLSY!”
As Peeves bellowed, spittle somersaulted onto a patch of dark, greasy hair in front.
Onlookers transferred their gaze to the Great Lake. The sight of a stout figure chasing a taller, broader, figure was enough to make them cringe.
“SEND MY REGARDS TO THE SQUID, LADIES!” |

| "Dribble" #8 (Potions): The Greasy Blackhead - dedicated to Rich and all SS drabble writers. “Check this out, Miwwy,” whispered Greggo. “It looks like it’s about to expl–”
”I can so easily rupture that pimple of yours and replace it with a permanent boil,” growled Snape as he scribed the potion ingredients onto the blackboard. “Never disturb the silence again, Goyle.”
As Milly leaned closer to Greggo in an act of comfort, she instantly pulled away the moment her eyes narrowed onto the pus-filled pimple present beneath the nose.
Sneering, Snape added, “Why – this is the perfect opportunity for the entire class to test their Acneous Pimpletonia antidote concocted last week. Oh, lucky us.” |

| "Dribble" #50 (Boggart): The Fear of Nothing - as challenged by DJan. Milly scrutinized her reflected self.
This afternoon, only one feature stole the limelight. Thanks to her cronies, it was a feature that she was all too familiar with.
Oh, no, not her single eyebrow.
And certainly not her goldmine set of teeth.
If a raw pustule was your guess, you are worthy of paltry applause.
The sight of the pustule was sufficient to be mistaken for a patch of leftover tomato sauce.
One of the cubicle doors swung backwards with heavy force. Milly spun around, her heart beating impetuously. Nothing.
Does this imply fearlessness? Or does she hunger for immortality? |

| "Dribble" #93 (Chicken): Purrs & Burps - as challenged by Erin.
A sorry excuse for a chicken frantically circled the common room.
“Help! Help! The sky is falling!” “Whatever will we do, Chicken Little?” cried a high-pitched voice followed by a sharp burp.
Milly stared vacantly.
“We must tell the king, Foxy Loxy!” clucked the chicken, flapping its paper wings.
“I concur, let’s –”
A fit of unquenchable giggles erupted as Milly made to sip her tankard of buttermilk. Breathing heavily through the straw sent half the contents sloshing down her fluffy, purple cardigan.
“Vincy, I requested a purr, not a burp. Now step aside, turtledove, I will play Foxy. Observe.” |

| "Dribble" #12 (Charms): Love Greenhouse, Number 9
“Yer melons, Pomona,” grunted Hagrid as he dragged a sizable knapsack into Greenhouse Nine.
“Why, I’m all of a twitter, Hagrid!” giggled Sprout. “You sweet pumpkin, you.”
Milly listened intently while crouched uncomfortably beneath a row of Pimpulus Pimpletonia.
“Ah, yeh, hope yer find ‘em juicy,” said Hagrid, shifting his left foot uneasily. “Used some Nifflertiliser and a li’l bit o’ Dugbog dung.”
“Well, thank you, Haggsy. I’ll reserve the first tankard of melon juice specially for you!”
Milly held her stomach in a fit of silent giggles, nearly rolling onto a stretch of dung. How flittingly charming, she thought.
