"Snape's such a git," said Ron, as he left the Great Hall with Harry and Hermione.
"I know," said Harry. "A Slytherin boy didn't do the essay. Snape, only took away five little points and there was no detention."
"That, was unfair," said Hermione. "But ..."
"Then," interupted Ron. "He takes points from Neville because he did the essay without any mistakes and gave him ten detentions."
"That's true," said Hermione. "But ..."
"I just feel sorry for that Hufflepuff girl. Detentions every afternoon until the end of the school year," said Harry. "Plus, Hufflepuff lost two-hundred points. They are at minus one-hundred and five because of Snape!"
"Then," said Ron. "A couple of Ravenclaws ..."
"Okay boys!" said Hermione. "I get the point! You should just be thankful that I helped you last night. Or else, Gryffindor would've been in worse trouble than Hufflepuff."
"Well," said Ron. "We are thankful that you helped us. Honestly. But, Snape!"
"Yes," said Harry. "We are very thankful. But, Snape didn't have to be such a git today. Especially with Neville. Neville completed the essay! Snape had no right to do that!"
"I know Harry," said Hermione. "But, Snape does have the power to do that, even though he uses it wrongly sometimes. Like I said, just be thankful Gryffindor didn't turn out like the Hufflepuffs today."
"Hermione," said Ron. "You can stop sticking up for that git. What, you love him or something?"
"Ron!" said Hermione. "I don't love Snape! I'm just saying, that he has the power to do that! Nothing more and nothing less!"
"Hermione," said Harry. "Don't get you wand in a nott. He, was just joking. Right, Ron?"
"Yeah. Just joking. Sorry."
"Harry," said Hermione, as she looked down at her watch. "You better go and do your detention. It is fourty-five minutes after four. Just get there early so Snape doesn't take more points away. Meanwhile, I'll go to the Library to see if I can find more information about the Mirror."
"Okay," said Harry. "See you later."
Harry walked down too the dungeons. He wasn't sure were he would be having detention. So, he went too Snape's Office and knocked the door.
The door opened and Snape said," I see that you are early for once, Mr. Potter."
"Yes, Sir."
"Well, let's get this over with. Follow me," Snape ordered.
Snape led Harry farther into the dungeons. When they finally stopped, Snape muttered something under his breath, and a statue, of a snake, moved to the side.
"In here. You, will be cleaning. You also have to remove those Pixies. I will be back in an hour to make sure you didn't wander off. No breaking a thing. If you do, you'll pay," said Snape, as he took Harry's wand. "Oh, no wand can be used."
After Snape left, Harry removed the Pixies. He, grabbed one at a time, tied them in bunches, and threw them out of the small window near the ceiling.
Then, he swept, washed, dusted, and waxed nearly everything in the room. The last thing he had to dust, was a picture. In the picture, Harry saw a man with blonde hair and Slytherin green robes. It, was Salazar Slytherin.
For a few minutes, Harry stared at the picture. "Why is this picture in here?" thought Harry, too himself. "Shouldn't be in the Slytherin Common Room?"
"Why are you daydreaming, Mr. Potter?" came a voice behind him.
Harry turned around and saw that Snape was back. "I wasn't daydreaming, Sir."
"Ten points, for lying too me," said Snape. "I see that you are finished."
"No Sir," said Harry. "I didn't get time to dust this picture, yet."
"No! You aren't dusting that! Knowing you, you'd bump into it. Then it would fall too the floor and shatter into little pieces. You, are dismissed. I'm sure you can find your way back by yourself," said Snape, as he gave Harry's wand back.
Harry grabbed his wand and quickly left the room. "That wasn't much of a detention," he thought too himself, as he left the dungeons. "What is so special about that picture? Why didn't Snape stay while I did my detention? Why did Snape only take ten points? When, he could've taken a lot more. I have to tell Ron and Hermione."

"I couldn't find anythign else about the Mirror. I, don't even know where it is," said Hermione sadly.
"Well," said Harry. "I think, that it has somehting to do with that picture I told you about. I mean, it makes a lot of sence. The Mirror of the Slytherin and Slytherin's picture."
"Harry's right," said Ron. "He has to be. Why else would Snape be so protective of that picture?"
"It does make a lot of sence," said Hermione. "But, how can we know for sure?"
"We can use the Map to see if there is a password," said Harry.
"Duh! I should've thought of that," said Hermione. "I'm still upset about not finding more information."
"Get over it Hermione," said Ron. "You know enough already."
Hermione glared at him and said, "I, at least, know more than you ever would."
"Look," said Harry, as he held the Map. "This, is the room with that picture. It, has a password!"
"What is the password?" asked Hermione.
"Pure Slytherin."
"Figures!" said Ron.
"Well, said Hermione. "We're going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out. It, is already past eleven o'clock."
"Okay," said Harry, as he went up the stairs too his bed.
The next day, Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to see John.
"We," said Harry. "Think we know where the Mirror is."
A message appeared in the fire. It said:
"Good. Where is it?"
"It," said Hermione. "Might be behind a picture of Salazar Slytherin, in the dungeons."
"Hmm. That's very possible. During all of these years, I searched everywhere but the dungeons."
"But," said Ron. "We need you to make distractions because according to the Map, Snape patrolls that room like crazy."
"Not a problem. I would be glad to help."
"Okay," said Harry. "Then, start at it around nine o'clack. We'll deal with the Mirror tomorrow. Maybe, by then, we could figure out how to use it."
"That will be fine. You know, your parents, Sirius, and Remus never thought of it being in the dungeons. But, they didn't get a detention from Snape either."
When nine o'clack approached, Harry grabbed the Map and the Cloak.
"Let's get going," said Hermione.
As they quietly walked down tot he dungeons, they stopped to see where Snape and John where. First, they were in the Great Hall. Then, the fifth floor. Currantly, they were on the seventh floor.
But, Snape was far away from them. So, Harry, Ron, and hermione quickly walked too the room, where Harry had detention, without any trouble at all.
"There's the picture," said Ron. "Whoa! He totally looks like a git."
Harry walked up too the picture and said, "Pure Slytherin."
The picture swung open. Harry, Ron, and Hermione quickly went in the open space. The picture swung back too its propper position, without making a sound.
"Lumos!" said Hermione.
"Where's the Mirror?" asked Ron.
"I dunno," said Harry. "But, it looks like this is another of Slytherin's secrets."
"Except for He-Who ... I mean, Voldemort and Snape. They know," said Hermione.
"I wonder why Snape knows about this," said Ron.
"I do as well," said Harry. "But, that doesn't matter now. We have to find the Mirror."
They went down the passage. At the end of the passage, they fell upon another picture.
"Another picture of the git," said Ron. "He, must've been obsessed! Look, there's a snake around him."
"Tell me about it," said Harry. "He's an evil old git."
"What does the Map say?" asked Hermione.
"It," said Harry, as he looked at the Map. "It says nothing. This passage isn't on the Map. All it shows, is a little room."
"Hmm," said Hermione. "Try saying the password, again."
"Okay," said Harry. "Pure Slytherin."
Nothing happened.
"Harry," said Ron. "Say it in Parseltongue."
"Pure Slytherin," Harry said, in Parseltongue.

Hi, again! I don't want to leave ya'll hangin'. So, I'm posting another chapter!

Here it is:

The picture swung open. Harry, Ron, and Hermione went inside, as the picture began to close.
"Another passage?" asked Ron.
"No," said Harry. "I think this is a room. Look, there's something shinning up ahead."
Hermiome walked up too the shinning item. She looked at it and said," Harry, it's the Mirror."
Harry and Ron walked up next too Hermione. Harry staed at the Mirror and picked it up.
"I wonder how this works," said Harry.
"Yeah," said Ron.
"Maybe, John knows," said Hermione. "But, I htink I know how to work it."
"Really?" asked Ron.
"Yes," said Hermione. "If Voldemort just said a name too the Mirror, then it should work the other way around."
"Well," said Harry. "We better get back, Snape probably stopped chasing John around."
"Yeah," said Ron. "Let's go."
Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked out of the room and through the passage. When they got out of the passage, Harry looked at the Map.
"Oh no," said Harry.
"What is it?" asked Hermione.
"Snape. He's coming this way," said Harry.
"Hurry," said Ron. "Under the Cloak."
Harry and Hermione quickly went under the Cloak with Ron. Then, Snape entered the room.
"Hmm," he said. "Looks like no one was here. But, just to make sure."
Snape circled the room. When he reached the picture of Salazar Slytherin, he said," Hello Salazar. Did anyone, perhaps, come in this room?"
"Actually," Salazar replied. "Yes. Three of them."
"Who?" asked Snape, even though he knew the answer.
"A boy with a scar on his head, a red head boy, and a filthy Mudblood."
"Thank you Salazar," said Snape. "Is there anything else that I should know?"
"Yes," replied the picture. "There is."
"What is it?" asked Snape.
"They, went under an Invisibliltiy Cloak and didn't have enough time to leave the room. Plus, they have my Mirror."
"Thank you Salazar," Snape said. "I will find then in no time."
"Good," Salazar said. "After, you can give the Mirror too Tom Riddle. Seeming, he is one of my Heirs, the Mirror will work for him. He, can get rid of Harry Potter. Make sure that Mudblood scum doesn't get the Mirror or everything can be ruined."
"I know," said Snape. "That's why, I had to ... you know."
Harry, Ron, and Hermione quietly walked too the door. But, Snape got hold of the Cloak.
"You children are in so much ..."
"Stupefy!" shouted Harry.
When the spell hit Snape, he fell too the floor, without another word.
"Bloody brilliant, Harry," said Ron.
"Well," said Hermione. "I guess he deserved it."
"You guess?" asked Harry.
"Okay," said Hermione. "He deserved it."
"You filthy scum," shouted Salazar. "Now, all will be ruined!"
"Git," said Ron. "Well, let's go and make things right."
"Nnnnnooooo!" shouted Salazar.
"Hermione," said Harry. "Can you shut him up?"
"Proudly," she said, while getting closer too the picture.
"Leave me alone you filthy Mudblood scum" ordered Salazar.
"So rude!" Hermione said. "Quietus!"

Dear Readers,

There is only one more chapter left in this FF. I, will post it tomorrow (Tuesday) and this FF will be moved too the Finished FanFic section. But, I am also going to post a brand new FF, made by me, tomorrow as well. The next day, Harry, Ron, and hermione went to see John and tell him the good news.
"Then," said Harry. "Snape came. But, I knocked him out."
"It was bloody brilliant," said Ron.
"i'm do sorry about SNape returning. He must've given up when we were on the third floor."
"But, how do we get you back to normal?" asked Harry.
"If the picture was telling the truth, Hermione would be the one."
"Me?" asked Hermione. "But ..."
"Hermione," said Ron. "You have to do it. It is John's only hope."
"I know that Ron. But, what do I have to do after?" asked Hermione.
"Leave that to me."
"When should we do this?" asked Harry. "Hermione thinks that saying your name too the Mirror will work."
"I'm sure it will. Hmm ... midnight, tonight. RIght here. How does that sound?"
"Fine with me," said Harry.
"Same for me," said Ron.
"Sounds fine,' said Hermione.
"Okay. I'll see you three later."
As midnight approached, Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to see John. This time, they were going to bring him back by making him visible.
Whent hey entered the room, there was a message waiting for them to read.
"Hello. I see that you are a bit ealry. That's fine. Do you have the Mirror?"
"Yes," sai Harry. "We've got it with us."
"Okay. I was just checking."
So, when should Hermione going to turn you visible?" asked Ron.
"In about seven minutes."
Is there anything," said Harry. "That she should do while she is doing this?"
"Yes. There is. Hermione, I think you should picture me in your mind as well, while saying my name."
"Okay," said Hermione. "But, how will we know for sure?"
"Look," said Harry, as he picked up a little peice of paper that fell too floor. "Ther was a note on the back of the Mirror. It says: The Mirror of Slytherin, can turn others invisible. If a Mufblood gets hold of it and says the invisible person's name, while picturing them in their mind, will come back. It would be best to do so at midnight. ~ Salazar Slytherin"
"He's stupid," said Ron. "Leaving a note that everyone can easily find."
"Well, good hting we planned about doing those things."
"Hermione," said Ron, while looking at the clock on the wall. "You better do it now. Only two minutes until it is midnight."
Harry handed Hermione the Mirror.
"Okay," said Hermione. "Here goes nothing. John Bristol."
Ther was a white flash of light. Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked around the room for John. But, he was no where to be seen.
Then, ther was another flash of white. This time, John was standing in front of the three, visible.
"Am I visible?" he asked.
"Yes," said Hermione. "You are."
"Thank you," John said. "All three of you."
"Not a problem," said Ron.
"We, are glad that we helped," said Harry.
"Hermione," said John. "May I haev the Mirror?"
"Sure," he said, as she handed him the Mirror.
"Thanks."
"What are you going to do with it?" asked Harry.
"This," said John, as he dropped the Mirror.
The Mirror shattered into peices. Then, there was a dark green flash of light and the Mirror was gone.
"How did you know that was going to happen?" asked Ron.
"I tried the same thing, but with a Remembrall, and it disappeared with a flash of red light. But, it happens to most things in the Wizarding world," said John.
"Well John," said Harry. "Welcome back."
Form that moment, John was truely happy. "Lost forever? Right," he thought too himself and went to enjoy his new life.
