hey everyone! This is my 16th FF here on SS! This a one shot, so I hope you all like it! I cried while writing it. Which is weird, cause it takes a lot to make me cry. So I hope you all like it!

I stood there, not crying, not being emotional. Just blank. I know he would have wanted it that way. No sorrow, no sadness. But I wasn’t happy. I really missed him. But I couldn’t control it anymore, once they laid his casket in the ground. It hit me. Draco was gone. I began to lose control, crumpling to the ground as my tears fell down my face like rain on a dry desert. His father should be the one getting lowered six feet under the ground, not Draco. Not my loving, innocent, sweet Draco. Stupid Lucius. I hated him for killing Draco. And I secretly vowed to myself then and there to kill Lucius for Draco.
I knew Draco wouldn’t have wanted me to be bitter. I knew him. I began to think of all the happiness we had together. And an old muggle song I had heard from a movie popped into my head.

It was then that I, Hermione Granger, realized that I was happy to have even
known Draco. He had made me the happiest person ever. Sighing, I stepped up to his plot, twirling a single thorn-less rose in my hand. I looked down and one last single tear slid down my cheek and onto his casket. I held the rose out and dropped it on his casket. I blew Draco one last kiss.
“I love you, Draco. I always have, and I always will,” I said. “I’d be lost forever,
if I never knew you.”
