Hello everyone! This is my 8th FF on SS! This FF is just a one shot though. It is called Girlfriend and it is based on the song by Avril Lavigne. It is a Dr/H FF and well what else can I say but…I hope you enjoy it!
Hermione Granger stared out her window as she watched Draco and Pansy by the lake.
“What does he see in her?” Hermione said in disgust.
“Maybe that she is a complete cow and will do whatever she is told,” Ginny offered as she watched a frustrated Hermione pacing up and down the room.
“I guess,” Hermione smiled.
She reached into her trunk and took out her ipod.
“I’m going for a walk,” Hermione said as she walked out of the room.
Hermione walked through the halls listening to her ipod. She tried to look for a good song but all her songs bored her now. She was about to turn it off when the beat to one song came on. Hermione liked it so she left it.
Hey! Hey! You! You!
I don't like your girlfriend!
No way! No way!
I think you need a new one
Hey! Hey! You! You!
I could be your girlfriend
Hermione dropped her ipod by mistake out of the shock that hit her. That was exactly what she was thinking about…that Draco needed a new girlfriend.
Hermione bent down to pick up her ipod but discovered that it was not there. Hermione looked up and found it in someone’s hands…Draco’s hands.
“What’s this?” Draco asked as he pushed the buttons on the ipod. He had paused the song.
“It’s called an ipod. It plays music,” Hermione said as she took it from Draco. “Where’s Pansy?”
Draco looked away from the ipod and into Hermione’s eyes.
“I don’t know. We were outside but then she said she had to go so I came inside and discovered a pod thingy,” Draco smiled.
“An ipod,” Hermione laughed. “Well I have to go Draco…see you.”
Hermione walked away and pressed the play button. The song continued playing. Hermione, not knowing Draco was following her, started singing…
“Hey! Hey! You! You!
I know that you like me
No way! No way!
No it's not a secret
Hey! Hey! You! You!
I want to be your girlfriend…”
Draco held back his laughter as he watched Hermione. She had a good singing voice but he never had seen her this way…he liked the song she was singing too…
Hermione continued…

I know you talk about me all the time again and again
(and again and again and again)
So come over here, tell me what I want to hear
Better yet make your girlfriend disappear

“I wish I could…” Draco sighed as he listened to Hermione.
“…In a second you'll be wrapped around my finger
Cause I can, cause I can do it better
There's no other
So when's it gonna sink in
She's so stupid
What were you thinking?…”
“What was I thinking?” Draco asked himself as he leaned against a pillar and wondered to himself. Hermione continued singing as the song came to an end.
“…Hey! Hey! You! You!
I know that you like me
No way! No way!
No it's not a secret
Hey! Hey! You! You!
I want to be your girlfriend
No Way No Way Hey Hey...”
Hermione stopped singing and turned off her ipod but she still kept repeating the last words… “Hey! Hey! You! You! I want to be your girlfriend…”
Draco grabbed Hermione by the hand and turned her around.
“I hope that “you” you were singing to was me because I want you to be my girlfriend too.”
Hermione smiled as she and Draco walked the rest of the school. Happy to be together.

I HATE the song with a strong passion...
But I LOVED this one-shot! Very cute and I must say the song is a perfect D/Hr(+D/P) one.
