Ok guys, soooooo sry I haven't posted, I've just had a heck of a busy week, I'll try and get a post to you 2moro night. I'm sorry for such a long wait!!!!! Plz stay tuned, a post will be with you soon I promise.

Its ok, we kno that you have a life, so I understand! Can't wait 4 that post, tho!

Chapter 12 – Ron’s Secret

“Draco, you did that for me? I asked him once he told me he had a few words with Ron.”

“Hermione, I had to step in, I hate seeing you so unhappy.”

“That’s the best thing you could have ever done for me.”

“I hugged him tight, and whispered “I wish everybody could see the sweet guy that I see, then maybe they would understand why we have to be together – why we chose to be together. You’re not all bad; you’re so sweet as to worry about my wellbeing.”

“It’s not a problem Hermione; I don’t like to see you unhappy because of my stupid mistakes. It’s the least I could do.”

“Draco, it’s not you’re fault. It’s as much mine as it is yours that we were caught together. But what you have to remember that what we did wasn’t because we wanted to hurt Ron, or anyone else, it was because we fell in love. We couldn’t help how we feel. I mean God knows I tried to block it out, but it was so hard.”

“I know, in the end I just had to admit that I was falling in love with Hermione Granger and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do to stop myself. It was by far the best mistake I have ever made.”

“I love you so much Draco.”

“Not as much as I love you.”

“Thank you for caring about me this much as to talk to Ron for me.”

“I want you to have everything in life Hermione, like it’s the least I can do for what you’ve given me.”

“What’s that? I asked confused”

“Do you even have to ask……you given me you.”


“We never spoke after that, I smiled at him and then I kissed him passionately for what seemed like eternity. He tried it on, but I held back and he understood, I just wasn’t ready yet although I trusted Draco completely. We ended up falling asleep in my room in the common room in each other arms. He really wasn’t meant to be there, and if we were caught in together in the head girl’s room, Gryffindor and Slytherin, we would surely be in trouble. But I didn’t care, because I was so happy with the fact that I was with the guy I loved, who genuinely cared about me as well. He spoke to Ron for me, how sweet was that? He didn’t care that Ron could have ripped his head off, all he was thinking about me and how I felt. I’m so lucky to have such an amazing person that cares so much about me and would do just about anything for me.”

“Hermione!!!!”

“I turned to look round and I found Ron running to catch up with me.”

“Ron? What you doing here?”

“Looking for you, I want to talk to you about something.”

“What is it?”

“I want to be friends with you again Hermione, I really do. I just miss you annoying little ways so much. I miss watching you getting excited about classes, I miss you getting worked up when you get a question wrong, I want to see you get upset when your essay is only 15 pages of parchment long, when really it’s only meant to be five. I miss you Hermione, Harry does too. I realised that having you as a friend is much better than not having you at all. We’ve been through a lot together. Harry and me are fun, but it’s just not the same without you, not two but three to make the trio we’ve always been. Too much is changing in our lives, I don’t want us to change either, and it’s always been me, you and Harry. We need each other; we need to stick together if not for our own sake then for Harry’s. Harry has little family left, we can’t take us away from him either were all he’s got. Please Hermione forgive me for being so stupid.”

“Ron, I miss you both too, I’m sorry for being so distant from you and Harry so much, it’s all my fault this has happened in the first place, I’m sorry!!”

“Ron and I hugged each other so tight that I actually stopped breathing for second, but I didn’t care because I was back where I belonged with my best friends. We were the trio again, and that was the way it was meant to be. Ron was right, too much was changing we couldn’t lose each other in the process. We had to stick it out and help each other; we had to help each other. We need each other so badly.”

“Ron thank you so much for giving me a chance, for giving Draco a chance.”

“What? Giving Malfoy a chance for what?”

“For giving him a chance to prove himself.”

“No way Hermione, I’m sorry but my feelings will never change with him.”

“But he’s changed Ron, I promise Ron!”

“Look Hermione, I don’t want to be near him at all, he’s been good for a few months, but just think about how bad he’s been to us for years, I can’t just forget about that, he tried to get Buckbeak killed!!!!!! He tried to sack Hagrid. He’s called you a mudblood. He’s mental Hermione!!! He laughed at Harry when he was hurt; he just didn’t care about anyone but himself and what his father always said. I mean look what they done to poor Dobby, you always protested against that with S.P.E.W!!!”

“Look I know he has done a lot of bad, but nothing life threatening and mudblood is just a name. He’s done a lot, but he’s changed for the better!!”

“WHAT CAN YOU KNOW HERMIONE BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER FORGIVEN HIM FOR WHAT HE SAID ABOUT YOU!?!?!"

“What do you mean Ron?”

“Nothing, I’m just….making up stuff.”

“No your not…..what where you going to say Ron?”

“Hermione trust me you’re better off not knowing.”

“Ron, if there’s something I need to know then I want you to tell me!”

“Hermione….”

“Ron please, I want to know, if it has something to do with me I have a right to know.”

“Hermione I can’t!!”


“RON!!! TELL ME NOW!!!”

“Ok…….you remember in second year when we made the polyjuice potion?|”

“Yes.”

“Well Harry and I went to the Slytherin common room. Malfoy found us and started to tell us about the Chamber of Secrets. We told you that he said that his father told him a muggleborn died when last opened. He said it was only a matter of time before another died that time. He………”

“Come on Ron!!! What did he say?!!?!”

“He……..said…. “As for me I hope its Granger.”

“I stood in shock, unable to speak.”

“Hermione, Harry and I never told you because we didn’t want to hurt your feelings. You deserve better than him, even if it’s not with me. He’s evil and he always will be.”

“I started crying.”

“Oh Hermione come here.”

“Ron hugged me tight. I pulled away.”

“No it can’t be true!!!!! It can’t be!!!! He loves me!”

“I’m sorry Hermione, but it is. When have you ever known me to lie about something as serious like this, I care about you and hate to see you hurt, that’s why I hate Malfoy so much, because it hurt me to see him insult you like that, he doesn’t deserve your love Hermione. He has done nothing for you.”

“I can’t believe it……how could he say that? How could he say that about me!?”

“He doesn’t care about you like Harry and I do Hermione. It’s always been us three. He’s never been part of us, and this proves it. He just doesn’t belong in our world. He’s bitter, cold and heartless to all those around him, he doesn’t care about who he hurts. He’s got between us too!!!! But we can’t let him win Hermione, we can’t let him break the trio, we matter so much more than him. Were you best friends and he’s just some guy. Surely we matter more to you than that scumbag does. Especially from the way he has treated you all these years, people can’t change over night. He’s still the same Malfoy who cares about absolutely nothing but himself.”


I hope you like it, I know Hermione may already know about what Draco said in the second year in the films and books, but I decided it was an advantage that she didn't know so that it works with my story I hope you like it.

P.S I f you think I'm a Draco/Hermione shipper I ain't. I'm a Ron/Hermione shipper but I'm doing all this stuff Hermione and Draco in it so you guys all like it. You guys like the story right? Well I'm a H/G and R/Hr shipper.

Chapter 13 – Hermione’s Hurt

“Ron was holding me in his arms trying to calm me down. At this point I was in hysterics.”

“Shhh, it’s alright Hermione. He’s not worth all this pain and tears.” Ron whispered in my ear.

“I hugged him tighter.”

“It’s alright Hermione, I’m here for you. I’m not going anywhere.” Ron whispered again.

“Ho…w...w could he d...d…do this to me?” I sobbed”

“Don’t worry Hermione I’m here to take care of you.”

“Ron!”

“Ron and I turned to see a black haired boy running from a distance.”

“Harry!! I yelled so happy to see him.”

“Hermione!! Harry yelled running up to me and I was running towards him.”

“We finally met hugging each other so tight. I missed the three of us being together.”

“I missed you so much Hermione!!” Harry said hugging me in even tighter.

“I missed you too.H...H...Harry.” I sobbed”

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked pulling away to look at me.

“Nothing….I…”

“Harry mate….I caught up with Hermione.” Ron said running over to us

“Well done mate. I’m glad because it was really beginning to be unbearable without Hermione.”

“You ok Hermione?” Ron asked

“Yes, I..I think so. I said wiping my eyes. Thanks for telling me.”

“What did you tell her?” Harry asked looking at Ron

“I….I had to tell her, it just slipped out of me.”

“Ron…What did you tell her?”

“I told her about the time in second year, when we drank the poly-juice potion, you know - when we disguised ourselves as Crabbe and Goyle.”

“Oh Ron! You never told her about what Malfoy said did you?”

“I had too, she was so determined that Malfoy was an angel that he changed for the better.”

“Ron we promised each other that we wouldn’t tell her, we knew she would be hurt!! Especially now when she’s fallen in love with the guy!”

“Please don’t say that!!” Ron shouted

“Look I’m sorry for that last comment but come on Ron, you promised you wouldn’t meddle in their affairs.”

“Harry I had too, Hermione doesn’t realise that he’ll never change. He’s evil and she has to understand that. He tried to come between our friendship. How much worse could he get?!”

“I understand that Malfoy is a prat, and we don’t agree with Hermione seeing him, but it ain’t our choice to make Ron. You can’t keep doing this to yourself, holding on hoping that Hermione will come back to you!”

“Hey!! I care about Hermione!! I don’t want her to get hurt she deserves better than him. If she doesn’t want to be with me then fair enough but, I’d never see her to any harm. I’m always here to protect her. I told her it because she needs to let go of Malfoy!!! He’ll hurt her eventually, I want to prevent that!”

“Look guys. I’m glad that Ron told me. I just wish you told me sooner than this. But I do respect why you never told me. Thanks for being so protective of me. You’re the best friends ever and I’m so glad that were back together. Your friendship is far more important to me than Malfoy. He doesn’t care about me, not like I thought he did.”

“Ron and Harry came closer and they had a group hug – something they hadn’t done in a very long time.”

“Harry and Ron walked me back to my room, after I spent about an hour crying in their arms.

“I hope your going to be ok.” Ron said looking worried

“I will be fine, don’t worry.” Giving him a hug and then Harry.

“Hermione!!!”

“I turned around and saw Draco smiling and running towards me.”

“Hermione do you want us to tell him to go?” Ron asked

“No, it’s ok. I need to talk to him first.”

“Ok, were just down the hall if you need us ok?” Harry said

“I know, thanks guys. See you both later.”

“I was all alone now, Draco coming towards me. I didn’t know what I was going to say to him. All I knew was that I was truly disgusted by the fact that he hated me that much in second year that he wanted me dead. How can anyone come back from that kind of hate? How could he possibly love me after saying and felling that way about me? I had to tell him how I feel, and it wasn’t good I’ll tell you that.”

“Hello gorgeous.” Draco said cuddling me from behind.

“I pulled away from him.”

“What’s wrong?” Draco asked concerned

“I have talk to you right now. Come inside I don’t want to discuss it here.”

“Draco followed me inside the portrait hole and I close door.”

“Hermione are you alright?”

“No. I’m not alright, and don’t try and pretend that you care.”

“What? Hermione of course I care, what a stupid thing to say.”

“Don’t call me stupid!! I shouted.”

“Hermione? What’s going on here? What have Ron and Harry been doing to you?!”

“They told me the truth about you. Something I’m so glad I found out about, so I could see how truly evil you really are!”

“Hermione what the hell are you talking about?!?!?!?!?!?!”

“You don’t know? Ok well let me refresh your memory you remember in second year when you were talking to Crabbe and Goyle in the Slytherin common room and they had gone all weird?”

“Yeah, I remember but how did you know about that?”




“You remember you told them about the first time the Chamber of Secrets was opened? You said a mudblood died. You said it was only a matter of time before someone died this time? “As for me I hope it’ Granger.” Do you remember now Draco?!?!"

“No. I never said anything like that!! I wouldn’t be so horrible!!!” Draco said nervously

“DON’T LIE TO ME IF YOU LOVE ME LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO THEN YOU’LL TELL ME THE TRUTH!!”

“Hermione….I…I don’t understand how you can know what was said you weren’t there.”

“Ron, Harry and I made polyjuice potion that year because we were convinced that you were the heir of Slytherin. We had to find out, so Harry and Ron posed as Crabbe and Goyle. You told them everything you knew! Even the fact that you wished me dead!!! How could you Draco? I knew you hated me, but I never knew you wanted me dead! The fact that you didn’t care what happened to me, is insulting, it’s hurts me so bad because I love you so much!!”

“Hermione, you spied on me!!! I could take that to McGonagall!!!!”

“Oh shut up!!! You have no proof that they were there, without any proof you have no chance!!! I want a simple answer Draco! Tell me the truth this time please. If you feel anything for me then you’ll understand that I have to know the truth.”

“I…I…yes, ok? I wished you dead.”

“I burst into tears. Sobbed uncontrollably.”

“Hermione, I’m sorry….”

“Draco tried to hug me. But I pushed him back and he nearly lost his balance.”

“DON’T TOUCH ME!!! HOW DARE YOU TRY AND MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AFTER SAYING THAT YOU WISHED ME DEAD!!!”

“Hermione!! Please let me explain!!! I was a child I didn’t no what I was saying!!! My father had poisoned my mind!!”

“DON’T START WITH THAT CRAP ABOUT YOUR FATHER AGAIN!! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES!! YOU BROKE UP ME AND RON!!! YOU WRECKED MY FRIENDSHIP WITH HARRY AND RON!!! YOU DIDN’T CARE ABOUT ME AT ALL!! IT WAS ALL ABOUT YOU!!!”

“NO!! HERMIONE PLEASE!!! I LOVE YOU!!! HARRY AND RON ARE TRYING TO POISON YOUR MIND AGAINST ME!!! THEY’RE GETTING BETWEEN US!!! RON WANTS YOU BACK SO HE WANTS ME OUT OF THE WAY!!!
“THIS ISN’T ABOUT RON OR HARRY!! THIS ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!!! NONE OF THIS IS THEIR FAULT!!! ALL THEY DID WAS TELL ME THE TRUTH WHICH YOU FAILED TO DO!!!”

“HERMIONE, IT WAS 5 YEARS AGO!!! SURELY IT CAN’T COUNT FOR ANYTHING NOW!!”

“WHAT?! IT MATTERS TO ME!!! YOU HATED ME ENOUGH TO WANT ME DEAD!!! HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY LOVE ME NOW?!?!?!? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? DOES IT SATISFY YOU TO SEE ME HURT!?!?!?”

“Hermione, I didn’t mean what I said. I love you so much!!! I don’t this to destroy your love for me!!”

“Draco….don’t you see? It already has. I can’t bear to look at you now. I flinched when you hugged me outside. I can’t possibly go on loving a guy with such hatred for me, I can’t!!”

“I DON’T HATE YOU HERMIONE!!! I DON’T!!!”

“You’ve told me a bunch of lies up to now, why should believe this line to be anything other than another lie to get what you want. To destroy my friendship Ron and Harry, how could you Draco?!”

“Hermione I wanted you to be friends with Ron again so you could be happy!”

“You probably did it because you were feeling guilty about what you were doing or something.”

“Hermione? How can you dismiss our love thinking it doesn’t mean anything?!?!?"

“BECAUSE IT DOESN’T!!! NOT AS MUCH AS HARRY AND RON’S FRIENDSHIP DOES. YOU BETRAYED ME MALFOY!!! I DON’T WANT TO BE WITH YOU ANYMORE!!! ALL WE’VE BEEN THROUGH THE LAST FEW MONTHS HAS JUST BEEN A LIE!!! It’s just been a total waste of time. I said quieting down.”

“Hermione, I don’t want to be without you, I can’t be without you!”

“Well tough, because I don’t want to be around you, you b*****d!!”

“I sat on the floor and sobbed my heart out.”

“Does…it …a…amuse you….to see me like this? Is this how…you...w…wanted it to be?” I sobbed

“No, Hermione I hate seeing this, I never want this.”

“Liar.”

“He sat down in front of me and tried to kiss me. I slapped him on the face and pushed him away.”

“Get away from me!!! You can’t just kiss me and think everything will be alright!!! It will never be ok!! I don’t want to be with you anymore….all you do is lie and hurt others in order to get what you want.”

“Hermione…”

“Get out now.” I said quietly

“Please…”

“GET OUT!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! DON’T EVER COME NEAR ME AGAIN!!!”

“He left quietly but slowly. I could have sworn I heard sobs as he left the room, but I didn’t care. I hated him for what he’s done to me; he’s been toying with me all this time. From now on I’m focusing on my studies and spending time with my one and only true best friends – Harry, Ron and Ginny.”

Hermione is so upset because he didn't care about her then, about that fact that he was so mean and shes scared in case it happens again. She doesn't want to believe that he loves her now, because her friends don't agree with him. She'd rather have her friends over a guy. But it hurts for her to hear such words from the guy she loves so much, who is supposed to love her back. He does love her now, but she thinks it's safer to stay away from him should he choose to turn over onto the dark side and hurt her, it would be so much less painful if she listened to her friends advice and kept away from him even tho she still loves him.


Does that tell you why she is reacting so bad and plus think about how you would feel is someone who is supposed to love you wanted you dead? Not nice is it?
